Jeepers Update - 2007 Jeep Liberty
By Jeepers - April 7 - 4:56 pmWell, we now have had problems with a window regulator. Luckily, the dealership replaced one with the new updated model that corrects the defect. Although the dealership would not use the word defective. Our mileage continues to be great after the syn lubes, PI in the tank, Costco Michelin tires with nitrogen. 25 mpg not too bad for 4x4. We cannot thank our Master mechanic enough for recreating our Jeep with great parts like Bosch Platinum+4 100,000 mile spark plugs and Amsoil synthetic lubes. We change oil only once a year now, we like that. And under the Magnuson-Moss act of 1974 syn. extended oil changes cannot void warranties. If the dealership says otherwise they are lying.

Worst buy ever - 2007 Jeep Liberty
By mandalore04 - March 17 - 5:44 pmI traded in a great subaru for this vehicle (used) for a larger vehicle for my son and I. I had the vehicle less than 30 days and the electronics completely failed costing $600 in repairs. I still have issues after the repairs with the electrical aspect. The passenger side front and driver side rear window regulators have broken and I have had this vehicle for 3 months. Looking to trade it off for something else if Im able to. I like the vehicle but Im not happy with the quantity and price of all the repairs. I will never recommend another Jeep or Chrysler product to anyone, let alone by one myself.

By crimson2 - December 27 - 1:19 amI bought my Liberty 4x4 over a year ago because I tore up my sports car in the winter of 2010/2011. I figured I would wait to see how things went before writing the review. My only issue to date was a ignition switch went out to the tune of 1300.00 as it and the steering column are one piece. No window issues, but seat stains are as described in the reviews. Nothing seat covers wont fix. Now for winter reliability.... This is where this thing shines!!!!! on 02/21/13 The KC area got about 7in of snow in 4 hours. Just about every other vehicle was on the side of the road, as I passed right on through unplowed streets, I felt like a Boss.... The clearance and part time 4wd took me everywhere!!!

Love My Liberty - 2007 Jeep Liberty
By Beckie - November 13 - 8:20 pmIve had my Liberty for a year. The car is comfortable and fun to drive. Gas mileage is about 19 mpg. Great SUV for running around town, rear seats fold down when to carry larger items and two adults can sit comfortably in the back. I highly recommend buying the Liberty and I will buy a second one in the future. Also, glove box does hold the owners manual.

By Mike - November 13 - 2:50 pmNo problems yet with windows. But I pulled a car out of a ditch and guess what? No tow hooks or solid bumper to put a chain on! All plastic, this is a Jeep right? Just enough room to fit a nice 8 pointer in! Fun to drive in the woods and mud.

This is my third, including a new 300 off the show room floor, and have never been more angry with a purchase! The seats stain if water touches them, and the windows are a joke! The regulator is made of plastic and breaks every other day! I am so disappointed with chrysler and never plan on buying anything else from them once I get rid of this piece of crap!!! If you havent purchased one spare yourself the hassle, you will spend more time having the windows fixed then you will get to drive the car!

Ive ran this car into a lot of things (my bad) and it bounces right back! I love the full size spare and how much I can get into this SUV. Mid-sized but holds a lot!!

Decent SUV overall - 2007 Jeep Liberty
By bryce1984 - September 2 - 7:36 pmOverall nice SUV. Perfect for a little family looking for something safe. Ours has over 15k and we have not had any problems. The ac seems to struggle in the hot desert summer as well the windows do seem to struggle at times. We love the power and the versatility of the Liberty. The gas mileage isnt the best but what can you expect from a V6 SUV? It gets about the same as my 2000 Nissan Maxima (AVG 20) I wasnt fond of the body style but my wife loved it and it is growing on me. For the price you cant go wrong. Its our first Jeep so well see if we can run it for 10 years like I know they are capable of.

A Jeep That Does It All - 2007 Jeep Liberty
By Don - July 8 - 6:06 amThis is my second Liberty, I bought my first one in 2004, (the window regulator wasnt an issue in that model). I love the Liberty for its carlike/suv appearance and towing capabilities. I am averaging 20-21+ mpg in combined city/highway driving. I bought the 2007 knowing that the window regulators were crap. However, it was still under factory warranty and I received such a good deal since it was a manufactures buyback that the savings made it worth the risk/hassle.
