Overview & Reviews
All 2004 Jeep Libertys now feature a passenger-side grab handle and a power accessory delay feature, while Renegade models get additional rock rail protection and black accent body side moldings. New options include UConnect, Chrysler's hands-free in-vehicle communication system, a tire-pressure monitoring system and a cargo organizer. Safety is enhanced thanks to a system that unlocks doors, illuminates interior courtesy lights and shuts off the fuel pump after airbag deployment. A new trim -- the Jeep Liberty Columbia Edition -- has been introduced, offering 16-inch graphite-painted aluminum wheels; graphite-painted fascias and body moldings; body-colored fender flares; a sun roof; fog lamps; and Columbia badging.
- Extremely capable off-road, creative interior design, still a Jeep at heart.
- Thirsty at the gas pump, not as "carlike" on the street as most of its competitors.

Fun - 2004 Jeep Liberty
By Jermyn - July 31 - 10:00 amI still love this Jeep. The only problem I have had is the rear glass switch shorted out. I drive this thing hard so I only get about 17 to 20 mpg. I still tell people if they want a great little suv buy a liberty.

2004 Jeep Liberty Limited Edition - 2004 Jeep Liberty
By Kori-j - July 25 - 10:00 amThis is not my first SUV. This Jeep far surpasses any other SUV in comfort and style. I chose this Jeep because it ad all the luxuries of more expensive SUVs at a much lower price. The engine is sound and the ride is smooth. This is the quality vehicle Jeeps are known for.

Once You Drive It, Youll Love It! - 2004 Jeep Liberty
By senseidave - June 12 - 10:00 amI bought my Jeep Liberty today (20 July 2004) and I already put over 100 miles on it. The ride is solid and the feel is very good. Visibility is exceptional with clear views from all sides. I found the seats to be a little uncomfortable especially on the thighs. It feels as though more support is needed in the sides of the lower seat cushion. The lumbar support is just fine. The glove box is VERY small; I couldnt even fit the owners manual package in it! Aside from these minor deficiencies, I love the Jeep! I feel like Im in command of a truly well-built machine. The engine efficiency could be better but thats the price you pay for wanting this kind

2004 Jeep Libery is great. - 2004 Jeep Liberty
By zdm - May 11 - 2:00 amIve heard that this Jeep is thirsty at the pump. My new Jeep is getting 19.8 mpg driving in the city. Maybe that is bad, but it is good to me. Someone else said when you close the back glass you leave finger prints on it. My back glass has a plastic piece on it to avoid that. Plenty of head room.
