Overview & Reviews
All 2004 Jeep Libertys now feature a passenger-side grab handle and a power accessory delay feature, while Renegade models get additional rock rail protection and black accent body side moldings. New options include UConnect, Chrysler's hands-free in-vehicle communication system, a tire-pressure monitoring system and a cargo organizer. Safety is enhanced thanks to a system that unlocks doors, illuminates interior courtesy lights and shuts off the fuel pump after airbag deployment. A new trim -- the Jeep Liberty Columbia Edition -- has been introduced, offering 16-inch graphite-painted aluminum wheels; graphite-painted fascias and body moldings; body-colored fender flares; a sun roof; fog lamps; and Columbia badging.
- Extremely capable off-road, creative interior design, still a Jeep at heart.
- Thirsty at the gas pump, not as "carlike" on the street as most of its competitors.

Fun! - 2004 Jeep Liberty
By frankwh07 - January 5 - 3:43 pmOK to be honest, besides to fuel economy, this Jeep is nearly perfect! I have already been in the snow and ice with it and it handled great. An outstanding winter vehicle. This Liberty handles great in all weather. I found that my Jeep gets about 18-20 miles per gallon which is good foor an SUV. I noticed this particular Jeep is getting harder to find because everyone is buying them up.You cant go wrong with this Jeep. Highly recommended!

Must Buy SUV - 2004 Jeep Liberty
By bikin4fun - December 11 - 2:00 amIf you are in the market for a compact SUV, Jeep Liberty can be the answer to all you need for 4 X 4. This car looks good from the outside, robust engine, roomy interior and can tow up to 5,000 Lbs. The best thing is that it is under $25,000 with all the rebates from Jeep. Forget Kia, Ford, GMC and go for the real thing: JEEP

I Love My Jeep - 2004 Jeep Liberty
By Heartjc - November 4 - 2:00 amThis is a smooth running car, easy to get into - Bigger motor than I am used to. When the snow on the roads start getting nasty I pop in the 4 wheel drive, nothing stops me from getting home.

Love It - 2004 Jeep Liberty
By mFox - November 4 - 2:00 amMy Jeep is black with the high contrast interior with leather heated seats. I live in a nothern suburb with lots of dirt roads. Traded in my convertible because it just was not the ride for dirt roads, I used to avoid them. Now with the jeep I try to avoid the paved roads, especially when it rains. The 4- wheel drive is excellent and easy to use and the radio controls on the steering wheel are a nice touch. I have put 4500 miles on it and have not had to go back to the dealer for anything. The only thing that could be better is the fuel economy, I average about 16.5 MPG.
