All 2004 Jeep Libertys now feature a passenger-side grab handle and a power accessory delay feature, while Renegade models get additional rock rail protection and black accent body side moldings. New options include UConnect, Chrysler's hands-free in-vehicle communication system, a tire-pressure monitoring system and a cargo organizer. Safety is enhanced thanks to a system that unlocks doors, illuminates interior courtesy lights and shuts off the fuel pump after airbag deployment. A new trim -- the Jeep Liberty Columbia Edition -- has been introduced, offering 16-inch graphite-painted aluminum wheels; graphite-painted fascias and body moldings; body-colored fender flares; a sun roof; fog lamps; and Columbia badging.

By jermac - September 13 - 2:00 amExcellent off road vehicle.I drive it at least twice a week on the beach.It handle well and nothing slows it down.It is a BLAST to drive.The jeep also handles well in the snow and heavy rain.I would reccomend it to anyone who plans on using the vehicle for occasional serious off road use.I have driven other small SUVs off road and their is no comparision.

SEVERAL DEALERSHIP VISITS "COULD NOT REPEAT NOISE". ENTIRE BRAKES REPLACED TWICE. NOW A STB HAS STATED THAT A MANUFACTURING PROBLEM WILL NECESSITATE ROTOR REPLACEMENT, WHEN THE PARTS COME IN, HA! ALSO, HAD THE TRANSMISSION SEAL REPLACED. I HAVE HEARD ABOUT THE BALL JOINT RECALL, BUT I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM JEEP CONCERNING THIS MATTER.

Complete and total adoration - 2004 Jeep Liberty
By brookelee968 - September 6 - 2:00 amI absolutley LOVE this vehicle.The Jeep Liberty is the only vehicle I have ever owned that has as smooth a ride on road as off.The interior is spacious enough that five people can be seated comfortably, and still have plenty of space for your cargo.The Liberty is so wonderful, after taking a ride in mine three of my friends went out and purchased one of their own.

my first jeep - 2004 Jeep Liberty
By wil m - September 1 - 10:00 am2 weeks after purchase, made it thru 2 feet of snow xmas morning NO PROBLEM! Great in central NY winters. Easily goes off road to favorite fishing spots, and fits 4 dogs to boot. Mileage could be better, window controls takes getting used to and the glove box is to small. Overall, I love my jeep!

A true Off Roader for everyday - 2004 Jeep Liberty
By Driven1 - July 26 - 10:26 pmI love my jeep. I put All terrain tires on it and there hasnt been much I cant get through. I have even done off-road courses with about 200 Wranglers, and I kept up with them. They all gave me high fives that I was using it off-road. It is also my daily driver. I have a Limited so it looks good and is a comfortable ride. IT has been my most favorite vehicle. Dont complain about the gas mileage, the vehicle weighs 4500 lbs and is built like a tank. I love the power it has and I have pulled about 10 people that were stuck this winter alone. Even a big 15 passenger van. This is not an Escalade, it is a great everyday, comfortable driver that can handle anything you throw at it.

I Love My Jeep! - 2004 Jeep Liberty
By Kamie - June 28 - 6:40 pmi bought my Jeep Liberty used with 12,000 miles on it. It has been the best car ever. The only problem I had with it (which really is very minor) is that the steering wheel was peeling a little, so I took it to the dealership and they replaced it, no questions asked. There was a campaign on it related to the ball-joints; Im not sure what that was about, I never had any trouble. Ive got a little over 60K miles on it now, and were still going strong. There have been some squeaky noises from the front suspension, but no major problems. Love it!

BEST CAR EVER!!! - 2004 Jeep Liberty

I have gone skiing in the mountains, camped in some rugged terrain in the desert and I live at the beach. Speaking of which, parked outside by the ocean for 7 years and she is rust free!! She still looks new inside and out. Paint and interior have held up, as the mechanics. I am meticulous about regular maintenance, changing the tires, etc. and she hums! This car has simply been terrific. 117,500 miles and going strong!! :)

By violet baldrick - June 20 - 8:40 pmi love my jeep. this is the 2nd jeep i have had and i will not change for anything else. i driver a jeep liberty and i get my compliments on it every time i drive it. it has a bomb stereo system and the heated seats and leather interior are definitely a plus in the winter months. one of my co-workers liked my liberty so much he now drives one himself. i get 19 miles per gallon and that is the only thing that i would like changed. i can go anywhere with my 4 wheel drive and believe me we do! i had a jeep cherokee laredo before and sold it to my daughter and she still drives it everywhere.

FUN SUV - 2004 Jeep Liberty
By oc47d - June 11 - 6:53 amThis vehicle is well built and sturdy. Very dependable and good looking for a smaller SUV. Nice for traveling with a small family or just going on a camping trip in the mountains. This vehicle is one of the better SUVs on the market.
