Overview & Reviews
All 2004 Jeep Libertys now feature a passenger-side grab handle and a power accessory delay feature, while Renegade models get additional rock rail protection and black accent body side moldings. New options include UConnect, Chrysler's hands-free in-vehicle communication system, a tire-pressure monitoring system and a cargo organizer. Safety is enhanced thanks to a system that unlocks doors, illuminates interior courtesy lights and shuts off the fuel pump after airbag deployment. A new trim -- the Jeep Liberty Columbia Edition -- has been introduced, offering 16-inch graphite-painted aluminum wheels; graphite-painted fascias and body moldings; body-colored fender flares; a sun roof; fog lamps; and Columbia badging.
- Extremely capable off-road, creative interior design, still a Jeep at heart.
- Thirsty at the gas pump, not as "carlike" on the street as most of its competitors.

My Jeep - 2004 Jeep Liberty
By Muneca - September 14 - 2:00 amThe Jeep Liberty is an exclent veh. It handles very well and is very comfortable. The Liberty loves the snow and rugh terian. The more the better. Great for sking and camping. Youll be the only one bot stuck. The ONLY drawback it that the Liberty runs very very rich. That is that it doesnt come near the sticker est. of driving milage. Other than that it is a dream. With the slect a track option it runs a little better but not by much.

Wonderful Automobile! - 2004 Jeep Liberty
By ericalg - September 14 - 2:00 amI have always driven a sports car, so I was a bit concerned about purchasing an SUV. I needed something to take me into the mountains and carry all my gear, but wasnt going to take a huge chunk out of my pocket. After doing all the research, the Liberty Renegade was by far the best choice! Ive had it for a few months and absolutely love it! Gas mileage was a bit shocking at first because I was so used to getting 33 miles/gallon, but its completely worth it, and still gets decent gas mileage for an SUV! I would recommend this vehicle to anyone. Its sporty, has enough horsepower to go fast up mountain hills, does great in the snow. I love my Jeep.

Definite Jeep Fan - 2004 Jeep Liberty
By J Payne - August 2 - 2:00 amThe name Jeep should sell itself. You are either a Jeep person or youre not. The Liberty rides a lot like the Wrangler but much quieter a little more smoother. It is the perfect vehicle to tote the kids around to practice or take to the beach. The gas mileage is not that great but I can get about 300 mpg in the city and about 350-400 on the highway. I love how the vehicle handles and rides. If you are a fan of the outdoors and enjoys fun vehicles then the Liberty is for you. Please note, it will not impress those who are use to a high end car.

Love everything but the glove compartmen - 2004 Jeep Liberty
By Victoria2313 - July 28 - 10:00 amThis is a great vehicle. It handles well in every situation. Its very roomy inside and you can fit more than you think in the back. It goes through some gas but I am a high mileage kind of person. The only flaw is the stupid glove compartment. I cant even fit my insurance paperwork and my registration in it. It was designed to fit a pair of gloves and thats it! It does great for intown - off road and everything in between.
