Overview & Reviews
For 2004, the Grand Cherokee gets a factory-installed DVD navigation system integrated into the radio. Columbia, Freedom and Special Edition trims are also new for 2004. All of these models incorporate subtle cosmetic touches and equipment upgrades. Additionally, each Columbia Edition Jeep comes with a complimentary Columbia parka.
- Powerful 4.7-liter V8, all-terrain capability, roomy comfort for four.
- Noisy and unrefined, questionable reliability, trucklike on-road handling.

Delivers everything - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By redjack9 - June 1 - 10:00 amI had a 1996 blazer with under 80,000 miles. On a hoot i drove a 2004 jeep grand cherokee larado. Needles to say the blazer is sold and I am very satisfied with my new car. Contrary to what Edmonds.com says (they must be driving something other than a jeep) the ride is very very smooth, handles corners at high speeds like a dream, comfortable, good looking dependable solid, comes standard with items you have to pay extra for on other vehicles - I have owned many cars but this jeep is by far the smoothest one ever - i will definitely purchase another one and willnot waste time looking at other makes.

JEEP JEEP - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By mdias311 - June 1 - 10:00 amI love my new Grand Cherokee. We had it for about a month before we took a 24 hour drive over the course of two days and it was the most comfortable I have ever been in any car/truck for that period of time. Gas mileage was better than on the sticker for the longer ride, even with the cargo area and back seat full. This truck feels solid around just about any corner at just about any speed, much better than my former Chevy Blazer. Sound system is even good enough where I dont feel the need to replace it. Overall the best standard mid-size SUV I have ever ridden in or driven, hands down.

Jeeps Rule - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By bigvic - May 26 - 10:00 amI love my Grand Cherokee. Ive wanted a Cherokee ever since I was 12 and my best friends dad bought his. Jeeps are what SUVs are supposed to look like. My 04 Grand Cherokee handles wonderfully and is the perfect fit for my family. I feel safe knowing my son is riding in something that has been around for over sixty years.

Gotta love Jeeps - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By SarahSmile - April 27 - 7:03 pmI just traded my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 for a 2004 model. I owned the first for 3 years and loved it! Drives beautifully and is the perfect size. I did have to take it back to the dealer because of the rotors but they fixed them for free. I dont like the brake dust that gets all over the rims and I guess this is a common problem for the model. Other than that it is great.

Great for the money!!! - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By CPR - February 10 - 10:00 amMy wife needed a replacement for her tired 94 GC Laredo and we expected to be restricted to a "mini" sport ute. We looked at the Mazda Tribute, the Saturn Vue, etc., but felt like we would have been robbed for the $24K+ price. She really wanted a GC. I knew they listed ~$29K, so I wasnt too enthusiatic about getting one on our budget. Was I wrong! Lets just say that City Motors will be getting more of my business! I cant believe we almost paid more for a mini-ute that you cant really take off road (WAY off road)!!!
