For 2004, the Grand Cherokee gets a factory-installed DVD navigation system integrated into the radio. Columbia, Freedom and Special Edition trims are also new for 2004. All of these models incorporate subtle cosmetic touches and equipment upgrades. Additionally, each Columbia Edition Jeep comes with a complimentary Columbia parka.

Man I love it! - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Youn Kim - October 2 - 10:00 amThis is my second Grand Jeep Cherokee Limited to the 93 (same model) I had. The old one ran fine, but getting everything repaired at the dealer just got too expensive for such an old car. I had a little less than 150K on it so Im expecting to get similar mileage before I get another new car on this 04 GJC. My new car is simply joyful to drive and to own! It has power, comfort, and style. I just love driving this car, even though I dont go off road. So far no problem except for groaning when shifting from R to D. My old 93 did this too. Im not sure if its normal.

Most bang for the buck! - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By GSAMAN - September 20 - 2:00 amI researched many mid-size SUVs before buying the Grand Cherokee. For the money you cant beat the Jeep Grand Cherokee. I got a $4000 rebate on top of a really sweet deal. I drove the Explorer, Trailblazer, Murano; none of them had the comfort or ride quality of the Jeep. Of all the Grand Cherokee models, I think the the Special Edition is a great choice. It has the great looks of the Limited (including leather) without all the bells and whistles. Plus it costs about $3000 less than the Limited. If you are thinking of an Explorer, Trailblazer, Highlander, etc; do yourself a favor and look at the Jeep!

By malutz - August 2 - 2:00 amThis Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Limited is the best car I ever bought! It rides as well as our Volvo T6 S80, and drives beautifully, too. Going through snow it is like a big safe sled. Not one skid, slide, or hesitation going over the mountain pass in several inches of snow. In my mind this Jeep is the best all around SUV for the money. A huge improvement over my previous Jeep.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Second time around! - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By RJ - July 3 - 8:56 pmMy wife had an accident with a Ford F150 that ran a red light while driving our 2000 Grand Cherokee. She hit the truck broadside and rolled it over. Our Jeep took the hit up front. Everyone in our car had only minor bumps. Jeep was totaled but the passenger compartment was perfect. My wife would now not have anything else but a new one. They would have been killed in a car. The new 2004 is even nicer than the first. Very comfortable to drive and plenty of power with the 4.7 V8. It handles well and has a beautiful paint finish in Inferno red pearl coat.
