  • GREAT VALUE - Opt for the 3.2liter V6! - 2016 Jeep Cherokee
    By -

Ive had my 2016 Latitude since December 2015 after having a 2005 Grand Cherokee for 11 virtual trouble-free years. I am amazed at all the bells and whistles this mid-price Cherokee has on it. My wife drives a Mercedes SL550 ($104,000 car) and the Cherokee has many of the features thats on the Mercedes, and in some cases, some the Benz doesnt have. We opted for the bigger engine upgrade (3.2-V6-25+mpg that I highly recommend), Comfort/Convenience package and the UConnet 8.4" screen upgrade. The incentives were great ($2K cash back + 0% for 60 months. I dont think I could have gotten more for the money anywhere else.

  • Get the V6 - 2016 Jeep Cherokee

The Limited has great looks inside and out. Spend the extra and get the V6. Great get up and go. My only complaint would be the navigation system. I thought it was broken right after buying car. Can not program an address if parked in a lot that is not recognized by the satellite. ( Happened even in the service department parking lot.) Must then program with voice while driving. Service department knows about the glitch, but no fix available at this time. The connect system and screen also seems somewhat temperamental. (Has a mind of its own at times.) All in all, its a great SUV. The safety features are a bonus and make one feel secure. Press the @ button on your dash if you dont want the engine to stop when the car is at a stop sign, ect. (This feature was designed to save on gas, but it causes the engine to feel jumpy when going back in gear.) I would give the car and 8 out of 10. If you plan on keeping the car for a long, long time, get the extended lifetime warranty. It is worth it for peace of mind.

We love this car. It drives great, looks great and all around nice car. It is a little noisy so I will be taking it to the dealer to have it checked out to make sure its nothing mechanical.

  • Quite possibly the best vehicle we have ever owned - 2016 Jeep Cherokee
    By -

My wife and I purchased our 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk 3.2 V6 in April, 2016. We have taken it on three road trips and just absolutely love it. Comfort, ride, visibility, power I could go on and on. I am a car guy so upkeep and cleanliness are top priority for me, this thing is put together like a Mercedes Benz. In fact, my parents liked ours so much they purchased one too. So far very pleased with product and dealer network and hope it stays that way. Note: I found no option for the Trailhawk with a 3.2 V6 so I used the 4 cylinder.

  • I love this SUV! - 2016 Jeep Cherokee

I have owned many SUVs in the past and have not been as happy as I have been with this one. It is not as large as some of the other SUVs, so it is easier to manuver than other SUVs. The Cherokee also has a great turn radius which also helps. I purchased the trailhawk with the 3.2L engine and with all the upgraded packages. I test drove the 2.4L and that model was sluggish. This is the reason I went with the larger engine. The larger engine combined with the 9 speed transmission you will not be let down. It is also a quiet ride and with the trailhawk it comes with the locking rear diff, stiffer suspension, and larger off road tires. I have yet to find anything I do not like about this jeep!

  • DONT BUY!! - 2016 Jeep Cherokee
    By -

I bought the 2016 Cherokee Sport, it sounds like a diesel powered sewing machine, according to the dealer its normal.. yeah you heard it right.. A 2016 Jeep sounds like a 92 Chevy Cavalier only the Cavalier has more power and sounds better!! not to mention the headlights get a lot of moisture in them "dealer said thats normal too" < because you want a brand new car with rusted headlight connectors right?!?.. this vehicle is a joke!! You hit the gas and it takes a good 3 seconds to start moving. The MPG is around 13 to 14, not what the manufacturer says and thats driving like an old lady. Very Unhappy with it and will NOT buy another Jeep unless its a 90s model thats the only time they got it right!!

  • The Best Car Ive Ever Purchased! - 2016 Jeep Cherokee
    By -

I had been seriously shopping around for this type of car for quite some time. I had about five dealerships calling me. When I first test drove my 2016 Jeep Cherokee, I was a bit worried. I live on insanely curvy roads and this car could have handled the curves poorly. It didnt! It handles the twists and turns of my rural road beautifully! I got a great price from my local dealership, had a trailer hitch installed on it for hauling bicycles around and it looks so great! I love all of my cars features, but I do have one complaint; no CD player. Its not the actual cars fault though because I guess basically no new cars have a CD player installed. One day, Ill probably look into getting a CD player installed, but my iPod works just fine for now. All in all, this is the best car Ive ever owned and I would highly recommend it for anyone that is looking for a quality vehicle.

  • Soggy 2016 Jeep Cherokee lemon - 2016 Jeep Cherokee
    By -

My 2016 Jeep Cherokee has under 3K miles on it and it is a lemon. It has a water leak that causes floorboards to be soaked. Vehicle has been at dealership four times for this issue (currently still there). Each time they return the car to me they say they have sealed this or that and water tested. Each time the leak has quickly returned. I opened a case (#29199176) with Jeep/Chrysler. I want my money back. I am concerned about corrosion and long-term reliability issues with the vehicle. I worry about mold affecting my familys health. I want my money back so that I may buy a different vehicle and Move on. I do not have time in my life for this drama. I am super busy with high stress job, kids and a frail mother suffering from dementia. The last thing I need is an unreliable car which is why I purchased a new vehicle. I felt the jeep would be easier for my mom to get in and out of but clearly I should have gone with another SUV. So far I am underwhelmed by the response I am getting from Jeep/Chrysler. What a pain!!!

  • 2016 Cherokee Laditude 4WD 6 cylinder - 2016 Jeep Cherokee
    By -

When selecting to write a review it only lets you choose 4 cylinder from the drop down list. I absolutely love my Jeep Cherokee. This is my second one Ive owned. Had a Chevy Tahoe after my first one, then a Ford Focus, and traded in a Hyundai Sonata on my new one. Rented a Jeep Cherokee twice last year while traveling out of state and decided to purchase a new one. It is the most comfortable vehicle Ive owned. I average 23 mph in town and 28 mph freeway. Love the UConnect, has some of the best features of most manufacturers available and user friendly. Insurance only increased $58 a year because of all the safety features it has.
