$4000 less than a v6 camry or accord and 10k less than a loaded passat, faster, and much more comfortable, this is the sedan to beat. I was in line to buy a Passat and got curious. Its dead reliable and not anonymous like toyota or honda. Its got a great warranty that Ive used for minor things. Great customer satisfaction.

I feel like I found out some secret, a car of this quality and luxury for that price. Sticker was 27k, I paid 23.2k. It has everything. Nice ride, great stereo system, good quality leather, nice european interior styling, a very smooth car to drive. So quiet. Everyone is shocked to find out its a Hyundai. Must be a stigma to that name. If your thinking about one, go for it, you will be glad you did.

  • I love my XG350 - 2002 Hyundai XG350

Even though my car is now 7 years old - i still have people asking me about it. Most are surprised it is as old as it as and a Hyundai. I like the classiness of only 1 area on the car that tells what it is .I dont know about fuel economy. I believe if you cant afford fuel you shouldnt be driving the car. Biggest expense has been tires - Im hard on tires on any car. I have aftermarket wheels and low profile tires - Car looks great. Should be worth more in secondary market but Hyundai still hasnt recovered there & should have . My friends with other imports do/did not have the same reliability, low maintenance costs .Id buy another .

Bought used at 40k mi. Engine lunched at 115k. If you buy or own, change the darn timing belt @ 70k. Belt is made of pressed fiber of some sort. The Korean v6, unlike American v6, is an interference engine - meaning if the timing belt goes, the pistons and valve beat the engine to death - unlike a non-interference engine. We run Mobil one synthetic from day one. We have two American cars - both v6 - one at 180k the other at 225k. Never changed the timing belt. Both run. The xg350 had a rattle in the driver side trunk. It cruised smoothly and easy on long trips but about as much fun to drive as an Abrams tank. Do not recommend and will never buy another Hyundai. Your mileage may vary

This has been a wonderful vehicle to own. Very low maintenance required and it loves the highway. The only problems I experienced with this vehicle is a rupture in the power steering module and constant resurfacing of the brakes rotors.

  • XG wins! - 2002 Hyundai XG350

We looked at the camry, accord, and others.. but bought the XG because it was different from what everyone else had, and came with a great warranty, too! So far, after two years, the only problem we had was a crack in the windshield, and Hyundai replaced it free.

  • What a Deal! - 2002 Hyundai XG350

Went to the dealer to look at Elantras and Sonatas. XG was a program car return. Wife fell in love with it and nothing else would do. Paid less than the loaded Sonata I had wanted and got much more car. Definitely compares favorably to brother-in-laws Maxima GLE. Very nice!!!

  • If theyd just fix it - 2002 Hyundai XG350

Its a great car, but I have had a lot of problems with the transmission and the way it shifts. The problem is intermitent. They reprogrammed it, which helps a little, but still problems. The service advisor, Ron Johnson, told me I should use Amoco gold gas, but so far that has done nothing. I could love this car, if theyd fix it!!!!

  • Excellent Automoble and great value! - 2002 Hyundai XG350

After owning a Mercedes for years my wife and I were tired of the costly repairs. We decided on the XG 350 because of the value, but recieved much more. The interior is as luxurious than sedans of much higher costs.I have made comparisons to Mercedes and BMWs other family members own. The stereo system is unbelievable with superior sound to anything we have ever owned. It is a blast to drive with the 3.5 litre 6 cyl. and shifttronic transmission. Great car!!!!!!

  • My experience with Hyundai xg350L - 2002 Hyundai XG350

I have about 1700 miles on the xg350l purchased in July, 2002. The machine is fun to drive with good drivers response. The five speed trans. is great for down hill breaking.
