Out of the Mainstream - 2002 Hyundai XG350
By royvw56 - April 6 - 2:00 amIve had my XG350 for over a year now, and am satisfied overall. What I dont like is: (1)leather seats are too hard, (2)gear shift lever can be too easily put into manual mode (3)no autodimming rear view mirror for this model and (4) poor resale value. On the plus side, the V6 provides more than adequate power, and theres a nice array of standard options.

Ear-to-Ear Grin - 2002 Hyundai XG350
By Epondo - November 16 - 10:00 amI rate vehicle ride quality for a living. Ive driven many different vehicles. The XG350L that I own is on par with cars that cost thousands of dollars more. In fact, the only vehicle that Ive driven that had better ride quality was a Lexus LS400, several years ago. So far, I am very happy with my purchase. The car is fun and very comfortable. It looks fantastic. The heated seats are perfect for the northern climate I live in (my wife loves the seats too. She can turn the heated seat on and the heater can be turned down, making me more comfortable). The sound system is fantastic. What a great car!

2002 XG350 - 2002 Hyundai XG350
By Peter - August 16 - 7:26 amWe were looking for a new car with a good warranty. My wife fell in love with this car and that was it. The 60000 mile or 5 year warranty and 100000 mile drive train warranty were major reasons for purchase. I have received numerous compliments about this car. It is a very comfortable ride with beautiful interior features. Luxury cars costing many thousands more dollars are no better than the XG350 as far as I am concerned.

XG350Lemon - 2002 Hyundai XG350
By XG350Lemon Driver - July 11 - 10:00 amI really want to like this car...unfortunately, its not mutual. Since Mar-02, this car has been in the service dept. for 39 days (excluding Sundays) with electrical problems. While this is a clear Lemon Law case, Hyundai is fighting me.

A Fun Car to Drive - 2002 Hyundai XG350
By Wiley Daniel - July 4 - 2:00 amAfter an auto accident totaled my Acura, I looked at the Acura, Lexus, Nissan and Mazda. When my lease broker asked me to test drive a XG350L, I was pleasantly surprised at the ride, multiple luxury standard features, the warranty, the price and its appearance. The front end resembles a Jacquar, Infiniti or Lincoln. I was so impressed that I decided to buy the vehicle. I continue to enjoy its handling, quick response and smooth ride. For the price, this is an outstanding vehicle. When my CD changer went bad, it was quickly replaced by the dealer under the warranty. The service persons were professional and cordial.

one of the best we have owned - 2002 Hyundai XG350
By Jim - September 28 - 11:00 pmThis car was the one my wife wanted. I had my doubts. Having owned a Maxima and a Saab 9000 I was hard to please. This car is a dream. We now have 35,000 miles on it and it has been virtually perfect. The very few minor problems have been corrected by the dealer in one visit. We did have a problem with the radio...intermittently just turned on. No questions asked..just install a whole new radio. Very places. The car is comfortable, responsive, quick and easy to drive. The features for the money are second to none. I am sold. My Saab 9000 is due for replacement this year and I think we will be a two XG350 family.

XG350L - 2002 Hyundai XG350
By Cal ina XG350L - September 28 - 10:00 amLooking for a new car? No one would have convinced me Id have ended up in a Hyundai. But after 6 test drives i took the plunge into XG350L zone. I have 30000 miles and besides a front headlight bulb burning out and the interior door section popping up when the door closed (both fixed by dealer) I can say that this car is the "bang for the buck" real deal. From its pick up off the line, its loaded bells and whistles in the cab, and styling (except as i agree with others the rear end needs remodeling) it has been wonderful. Try this one if your in the new car market youll see why all these reviews praise it.
