  • Nothing but trouble - 2002 Hyundai XG350
    By -

Car appeared to be a value but I am on 3rd transmission, front brakes and rotors went at 30K miles, battery gone at 2 years. Tires worn out at 35K. Just had 60K service! WOW! Over $1100 for timing belt and service! If you dont get the timing belt done, warranty is void! Needs to sacrifice some ride quality for handling. Sways in curves almost to the point of being dangerous.

  • This is BEST new car in 25 I have owned - 2002 Hyundai XG350
    By -

I dont understand the low ratings by the editors, we have owned 25 cars in 14 years (between us) and this is the ONLY one I have had more than 12-14 months. It is comfortable and reliable. Best deal going only paid 24k for it when similarly equipped models were 34-39k when purchased. It has EVERY option you could imagine and it is so quiet and smooth to ride in. We have logged over 50k so we travel a lot. The seats are still great. Most people are afraid of trying a name their family, friends or others have not tried or deemed COOL. If you want to save a lot of money and have a great warranty buy one! give one of these a look.

  • I love my car, but... - 2002 Hyundai XG350
    By -

I love my car but I hate the amount I paid for it $26,000 plus a 2.9% interest rate. My saleswomen and her manager laughed all the way to the bank, Im sure and I would never refer A2 Hyundai to ANYONE. I love driving it but it has a couple of significant problems interior noise on the X-ways causing you to have to turn up the volume to hear radio, CDs or tape, the CD player needs to have warm CDs before it plays well and just recently I noticed a very harsh sound from the engine but it has been extremely cold lately.

  • Why spend more - 2002 Hyundai XG350
    By -

The XG350L is everything it is supposed to be to compete with Lexus and the other big sedans...roomy, comfortable, laden with features, powerful, torqued and good-looking. And its at least 15gs less. Its fun to drive...not a Ferrari, but what youd expect from a big cruising sedan. The new 3.5 litre engine is a huge improvement; the car gets out of its way and has no problem moving well past 100 mph. Its comfortable, has a great stereo, rides like a dream, handles well, has power and more. Why people are spending so much more for the same thing with a fancier name plate is beyond me.

  • Fun Experience - 2002 Hyundai XG350
    By -

Fun, Fun, Fun. Of course, this is compared to a late model Caddilac DeVille. This is the first "small" car my wife has ever liked. We find the resetting of seat, mirrors, etc. because of our size difference to be a snap. I would describe vehicle as very quick on the road.

  • WOW - 2002 Hyundai XG350
    By -

the car is a stunner to look at. always gets stares and the fit and finish, but the ride is not so hot and the engine should have much more horsepower. The dealers suck and they are no help AT ALL. the car is worth the money but it is not a lexus, bmw or toyota

  • best value on the market - 2002 Hyundai XG350
    By -

This our second Hyundai with about 15 years and several new cars between Hyundai purchases. We have had her for more than 4 years, I still feel that our Hyundai XG350L is the best value on the market. We presently have 51,000 miles and will seriously consider buying another Hyundai because of our experience with our dealer, the cars reliabilty, comfort and safety features.

  • Pleasant surprise - 2002 Hyundai XG350
    By -

Recently leased a new XG 350, black with all the bells and whistles!! It is a beauty! Looks more like a luxury car than many of the true luxury cars on the road. Im hoping the transmission will begin to change less noticably, that is the only little quirk I have with it. I can hardly believe all the extras and features that were standard! I could never have all these extras in a Altima, Accord, Passat, Camry without paying a good deal more.

  • keep coming hyundai - 2002 Hyundai XG350

couldnt have found a better value for money.no it doesnt match up to bmw, lexus, or other cars 30000 and up.but it holds its own with the cars itw was meant to compete with.there are always trade offs when designing cars, and the ones here are well worth it.i find no problem with build quility.the sespention could be thigter, for a more sporty ride.and i suspect to see improvement over next few

  • I drive a lot and really like my XG-350 - 2002 Hyundai XG350

I do a lot of highway driving and this has proven to be the most comfortable vehicle Ive ever owned, especially considering the relatively low price. Frankly, I find it on par with my friends Lexus.
