Overview & Reviews
One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Modern versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe are midsize with three rows of seating, quality cabin furnishings and user-friendly tech features. Whether you're shopping for a new or used Santa Fe, value is a big part of its appeal. The standard equipment list is generous, as is Hyundai's warranty coverage.
Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers. The 2007 and later models are a big step up in styling, performance and interior space, and they're worth considering if you're shopping for a used midsize crossover. Hyundai has since subdivided the Santa Fe line into two models: the two-row Santa Fe Sport and the three-row Santa Fe. The latter is more luxurious than its predecessors, offering premium styling and plenty of power.

DUMB LUCK - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By MARK MALSAM - September 26 - 10:00 amWe were looking at Honda CRVs (overpriced) and thought the Rav4 was too small and the highlander was underpowered and overpriced. Domestics not a factor. Took a test drive and got a great deal. Warranty was not a deciding factor. It was a bonus. Ride and power with 3.5 liter was deciding factor. Incredibly quiet. It was supposed to be my car but my wife leaves the minivan in the driveway all the time.

Santa Fe 2003 - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Tom Stalie - September 26 - 10:00 amI drove my Santa Fe across the country from California to Alabama and back. It was a good experience, smooth and was able to drive non-stop for hours. Only stopping to refuel and bathroom breaks. I am 61", 220 lbs and I was very comfortable with the design. I really enjoy it. Best of all was the price!

Love Our Hyundai - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By KLSMES - September 26 - 10:00 amWe were anti-suv because of the poor gas mileage. However, we needed a vehicle that could fit three medium sized teenagers in the back seat that wasnt a station wagon. The Santa Fe does that with amazing comfort, great interior and a beautiful look. The 100,000 10-year warranty cant be beat. Would love a little better gas mileage but its over 20--better than lots of other vehicles. We love it.

Great SUV - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Dee Ann - September 26 - 10:00 amI traded in my VW Passat for a Sant Fe and have loved the Sant Fe. I have not had one bit of problems with the Santa Fe. It always runs. I cant say that about the Passat. I deliver wedding cakes and the cargo space in the back is plent big enough for all the cakes. We shopped around before we bought this suv and by far, for the money, this is the best deal on the road.

Love this SUV!! - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By C. Cook - September 26 - 10:00 amI did a lot of homework on many SUVs. By far, the Hyundai Santa Fe beat all out. For the price, the 10-year bumper to bumper warranty and 1.9 % financing, how could I lose? It has been one of the best investments Ive made in vehicle.

2003 Hyundai - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By fritzi1113 - September 26 - 10:00 amWhile looking for an SUV, I came upon the Santa Fe, liked the way it looked. After driving it, I knew that this is the vehicle I wanted after believing for months that I would only buy a CR- V. This is a fun vehicle to drive, lots of power with the 3.5 litre engine and the automatic transmission is unique in that you can shift manually if wanted or needed.
