Model Overview:

One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Modern versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe are midsize with three rows of seating, quality cabin furnishings and user-friendly tech features. Whether you're shopping for a new or used Santa Fe, value is a big part of its appeal. The standard equipment list is generous, as is Hyundai's warranty coverage.

Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers. The 2007 and later models are a big step up in styling, performance and interior space, and they're worth considering if you're shopping for a used midsize crossover. Hyundai has since subdivided the Santa Fe line into two models: the two-row Santa Fe Sport and the three-row Santa Fe. The latter is more luxurious than its predecessors, offering premium styling and plenty of power.

With the items that you get from the Santa Fe and the price. You cant beat it. No other SUV in its class or any others go for that price. But on an Auto frame instead of a truck frame is great. I test drove the Rodeo and the Santa Fe back to back twice at the dealership and the salesman was pushing the Rodeo. But I loved the ride and the feeling of the Santa Fe. Great for taller people.

  • Gas Milage - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
    By -

I leased my new Hyudai Sante Fe in April of 2007. Everything about the comfort, style, performace and practicality of the verhicle is excellent.....except for the gas milage. I had previoiusly been driving a Buick Rendevous and the Sante Fe was advertised as similar gas mileage. But my expereince has been far below that estimate. I am averaging only 15 miles per gallon in the city and 18 on the highway. This has been a big disappointment. Im glad I only leased and not purchased this SUV. The sad part is if I DID get closer to the advertised gas milage, this would be the perfect vehicle for me and I would purchase it.

I love my Santa Fe Lx. It has so many extras. I have leather interior with seat heaters, a great sound system, and it runs great on the highway. You have to watch the speed or you will catch yourself going too fast.

The car is a great value for the money. It comes with every possible bell and whistle for about $22,900. I now have about 13000 miles on the vehicle. When delivered, the car had a transmission leak. The entire transmission had to be replaced. It was replaced with little or no resistance from the dealer or the manufacturer. There have been no other problems with the SUV which is very enjoyable toown

  • Best SUV in its Class - 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe

For the past 30 days, our crystal blue Santa Fe has been proving to us that we made an excellent purchase. Its not just the price, warranty, V6-power, ride, comforts, and solid construction. Its the whole package. Its appearance seems to match well with its qualities. I also love driving this vehicle. It does not matter what others think about the car maker as long as I love driving it. A serious vehicle worth your money. At least a test drive.

  • A great value proposition in this segment - 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe

It is one of the better 3 row crossovers in the segment.Smooth ride, great handling, refined engine and transmission.Reliable electronics and cool features such as panaromic sunroof,Heated and cooled seats, heated rear 2nd row seats, smart liftgate and good comfort overall. If there are some weak points it has to do the front seats not height adjustable(my spouse doesnt like it),Brakes not so effective especially under full load and suspension that bottoms out under full load of passengers.

I test drove them all and bought the Santa-Fe and so far Im still very satisfied. everyone talks about it being underpowerd, I guess they are race track drivers because it has all the power a normal person needs.
