Model Overview:

One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Modern versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe are midsize with three rows of seating, quality cabin furnishings and user-friendly tech features. Whether you're shopping for a new or used Santa Fe, value is a big part of its appeal. The standard equipment list is generous, as is Hyundai's warranty coverage.

Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers. The 2007 and later models are a big step up in styling, performance and interior space, and they're worth considering if you're shopping for a used midsize crossover. Hyundai has since subdivided the Santa Fe line into two models: the two-row Santa Fe Sport and the three-row Santa Fe. The latter is more luxurious than its predecessors, offering premium styling and plenty of power.

  • 4Great car for the $$$ - 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe

Pretty good vehicle. We are happy with the design and appearance so far. Still breaking it in, so cant give you an estimate on the gas mileage that is valid, nor how it agrees with the manufacturer, but so far, city driving has given us 18-20 mpg. The car has plenty of power, if you feel you need more, then you should get a V-8 or a sports car......this car is plenty good and gives power when needed, and decent fuel consumption. Third row seat is no good for anyone taller than 5 10" - unless you are driving a basketball team, someone will be shorter, and those people can survive on even longer trips. I am 6 4" and the first 2 rows have plenty of room. The panoramic roof is awesome!

If you had told me three months ago that Id buy a Hyundai, Id have told you that you were nuts! After researching reviews and pricing I got my wife one and it (so far) has been a very pleasant surprise. We got all the goodies on it for a very fair price and the warranty cant be beat. Ive gotten compliments on it from cowboys to Grannies. Were getting about 21.5 mpg which is what we thought wed get city/highway.

drove to mississippi 2 times without a single problem, good handling and gas milage was great, even with towing a boat the v-6 did the job and then some, I test drove a 4 banger and this I felt was almost dangerous as it was underpowered greatly, buy atleast the v- 6 and you will have no problem.

  • Never had a better car! - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe

I have previously had two Fords,(will never have another one because quality was poor and customer service poorer) and a Honda CRV. I have never been more pleased with this Hyundai Santa Fe! I was drawn at first to the great exterior design and after stepping into the drivers seat was sold. The back seats recline so that my kids can nap on long trips and the 3rd row seat has been a lifesaver for this soccer mom. I love the engines get up and go. Plenty of power outlets. Never had XM before but now Im addicted. The blue interior lights are easy on the eyes. I have interior lights when I open my car doors, not sure what other people are missing. I love, love, love this Car!!!

Wheel Alignment issue at initial purchase and some vibration noise after 5000 miles. Besides those issues, its fun to drive

This is an excellent car. My husband and I researched cars quite extensively...RAV4, Vue, CRV, Liberty...and overall the Hyundai far surpassed all others. It performs, is made well, has incredible standard features, and the price was unbeatable!

Only owned for two weeks, so impressions are still forming, but so far I am greatly impressed. Feel I got more than I paid for. Very solid construction. Extremely comfortable seats. Decent performance and fuel economy. Great space for people and things. And of course that warranty.
