Overview & Reviews
One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Modern versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe are midsize with three rows of seating, quality cabin furnishings and user-friendly tech features. Whether you're shopping for a new or used Santa Fe, value is a big part of its appeal. The standard equipment list is generous, as is Hyundai's warranty coverage.
Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers. The 2007 and later models are a big step up in styling, performance and interior space, and they're worth considering if you're shopping for a used midsize crossover. Hyundai has since subdivided the Santa Fe line into two models: the two-row Santa Fe Sport and the three-row Santa Fe. The latter is more luxurious than its predecessors, offering premium styling and plenty of power.

Good little SUV - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Paulie Peace - August 28 - 10:00 amThe car rides smooth and handles well--this being the first "non-car" Ive ever driven. No problem getting into and out of the Santa Fe and the seats are comfortable for all who ride in it. Plus I like that it has more of a car look to it-rounded ends and sides instead of the very sqare and straight"SUV/Jeep-y look" that most others seem to have. Good buy for the money--why spend more if you really dont have to? And a grea

Best suv on the market - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By sly-fox53 - August 27 - 2:00 amWe looked at almost all suvs out there and the Santa Fe was by far the best buy and ride of them all. Best warranty on the market and the lowest price by far. We liked the vehicle so much and the warranty that we bought a Hyundai Elantra GT also. same thing best of everything.

2013 Santa Fe Steering is scary on straigh highway - 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe
By njuneer - August 23 - 5:49 amWe have 256 miles on one week old 2013 Santa Fe Sport -non turbo. Great car, great style, good warranty..... however power steering is scary on straight highway.... it constantly requires correction to keep it on the road. Should have read up on this one before purchase. Dealer says all is OK....alignment, tire pressure, steering system. Was told to just get used to it....not happy at all....will be taking it to the next level soon. Recommend a 30 mile highway test drive before purchase.....

Nice Car - 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe
By nss79 - August 22 - 9:23 pmTraded in a 2005 Santa Fe for this car, and this is a nice improvement. This car has a very nice, smooth ride and plenty of features. We got the premium package, mostly for the heated seats. Everything in the interior is well placed. Power is good enough with the 2.7, but I wouldnt mind a little more. The fact that my wife drives only 2 miles to work really hurts the MPG, but with more highway driving 20+ MPG is easy to do. Overall we are very satisfied with this car and will be keeping it for a while.

Not What I Thought? Confused - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Alvin C - August 22 - 4:13 pmLots of inner noise - sqeeks when hitting bumps. Auto lights feature doesnt always work correctly. Some of the noise come from the CHEAP Brigestone Dueller 2 tires on the vehicle - would definitely change to Michelans or Good Year Eagles

2005 Santa Fe - 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Jeff - August 22 - 4:46 amI love my 2005 Santa Fe-I never knew I would save money on car insurance! I was expecting to pay more, but didnt. I love the car-like ride and as many have said, those little extras. I am disappointed in the fuel economy however, its only a V6-not a V8. My parents have a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and it gets roughly the same milage and its a V8! Aside from all that, its a wonderful mid-sized SUV with plenty of space and standard features that make the big three worry: GM, Chrylser, Ford I like it!

Its a keeper! - 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
By josh33172 - August 22 - 4:22 amSo far I am very satisfied with my Santa Fe. It has been very smooth, quiet and efficient (as long as I am not mashing on the gas) and my current peak was 27.2mph. I average about 23 combined which is what I expected and is decent for AWD, the heat in S. Florida, and traffic. The ride height and visability are very helpful for observing the road. The turning radius is excellent! The AWD system really helps when its wet. I have no experience in the snow currently living in Miami, Fl, but bought this with the intentions of moving to D.C.
