Overview & Reviews
One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Modern versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe are midsize with three rows of seating, quality cabin furnishings and user-friendly tech features. Whether you're shopping for a new or used Santa Fe, value is a big part of its appeal. The standard equipment list is generous, as is Hyundai's warranty coverage.
Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers. The 2007 and later models are a big step up in styling, performance and interior space, and they're worth considering if you're shopping for a used midsize crossover. Hyundai has since subdivided the Santa Fe line into two models: the two-row Santa Fe Sport and the three-row Santa Fe. The latter is more luxurious than its predecessors, offering premium styling and plenty of power.

Pleased so far - 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Hutch - May 26 - 10:00 amMy new 2010 Santa Fe has about 4000 miles on it so far. Overall I am pleased with the car but there are some things i dont like about it. The ride is very rough. From the factory the tires had 36 lbs of pressure. Dropping the pressure to 30lbs helped a lot but the ride is still stiffer than that of a 2010 Rav 4 Limited. The V6 engine is very powerful but the gas pedal has excessive lag. Step on the gas and wait a 2 seconds before the engine RPM picks up. You will find many complaints online regarding the transmission but I havent experienced any problems yet (fingers crossed). Rav 4 would have been my first choice if it wasnt for that swing out rear door.

04 Santa Fe review - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Cyril - May 23 - 8:26 pmThe most practical vehicle I ever owned. The first vehicle I had that didnt burn any oil. The 3.5L engine performance is great. Rides like a luxury car. Problems so far have been minor. Has lots of neat storage compartments. A nerds dream.

Better than expected - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By John Rumbach - May 22 - 2:00 amWe traded a Subaru Forester which we liked very much, but the Santa Fes power, style, size and other features for the money made it irresistable. The quality is outstanding, and we appreciate the effort Hyundai has put into this SUV, to make it a superior purchase for us. John and Ellen Rumbach

I love it! - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By shezshells - May 22 - 2:00 amIt is very comfortable and fun to drive. My only problem with it is that it doesnt have the power, the get up and go that I wish it did. I really do love the Santa Fe though, its probably the most comfortable and fun to drive of any vehicle Ive owned.

By anthony vazquez - May 21 - 10:00 amBEFORE BUYING I SEACHE AND STUDIES MANY MANY SUVS AND CHOOSE THE SANTA FE DUE TO PRICE,STYLING AND COMFORT SURE THE WARRENTY IS GREAT BUT I AM NOT ONE TO USE THOSE I WILL FIX OR GET FIXED MOST THINGS WITHOUT WARRENTY AS I HAVE IN THE PAST. I JUST DONT LIKE WAITING WITH DEALERS SO THE WARRENTY WAS NOT ONE OF MY CONCERNS, I AM VERY VERY HAPPY WITH THIS SUV I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT EXCEPT FOR THE NOISE IN THE PICK UP I HOPE IN THE NEAR FUTURE THEY INCREASE ENGINE POWER EVERYTHING ELSE IS GREAT
