One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers.   After 6 months of research on SUVs, I chose the Santa Fe for its style, performance, price, warranty program, leg and head room (Im 6-4"). No sunroof addition which allows 5 extra inches of head space. The AWD is very responsive and the 3.3L, 6cyl is well worth the upgrade.

  I am 6 ft. tall and have lots of room to be comfortable. Works fine but have not had it long. Moved jack handle off jack and not a rattle or squeak since. If it stays this way cant ask for any better. One very small crab....mileage indicator hard to read in daytime.

  I bought this vehicle in september 2006 and have over 20,000 miles on it so far. For an SUV with a V6 I can say it is pretty good on gas (overall 22 MPG). Still drives like a car and is very quiet on the road. I live in Massachusetts and my wife has never had any issues driving in the snow (we live in the second hilliest city in the US). I dont have any interior failures or defects as stated in other reports. I can honestly say that I have no complaints with this SUV and was looking at the Pilot and highlander also at the time. I wish I had purchased the 3rd row seat.

  I finally bought my dream car. It has body design like No other SUV on the market - not boxy not square but sleek and bubbly. It is a fun light midsize suv for anyone. Hyundai has become my hero as far as make is concern; this is the second Hyundai I have purchased and am even more pleased with this than the first. Well build, Excellently priced, fun, stylish, and everyone asks me how a guy like me can afford such a nice car. I named him Deshawn.

  Easily the worlds best SUV. Destroys everything from a Toyota to a Hummer. The Santa Fe may be the greatest vehicle the world has ever seen.

  Purchase this Santa Fe used with 25k. The only problem I encountered was a defective rear seat hatch which was covered under the factory warranty. At 54k it still has 30% front and 90% original factory brakes. It rides like a car, gets acceptable mileage and very easy to get in and out of.

  This is by far the best SUV out there for the price you pay. All the extras that you love, with out those you dont need makes it a really great buy.

  This is a great midsize SUV.It is solid and drives like a car.I would recommend this to anyone.The 3.5 FWD engine is highly recommended,smooth and powerful.
