Overview & Reviews
One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Modern versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe are midsize with three rows of seating, quality cabin furnishings and user-friendly tech features. Whether you're shopping for a new or used Santa Fe, value is a big part of its appeal. The standard equipment list is generous, as is Hyundai's warranty coverage.
Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers. The 2007 and later models are a big step up in styling, performance and interior space, and they're worth considering if you're shopping for a used midsize crossover. Hyundai has since subdivided the Santa Fe line into two models: the two-row Santa Fe Sport and the three-row Santa Fe. The latter is more luxurious than its predecessors, offering premium styling and plenty of power.

Best Ive ever owned! - 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe
By cagaradiogirl - December 24 - 10:56 pmBought my 02 used as a third owner and had to do a complete overhaul to front end and engine after oil leak showed rings were bad BUT overall, she has been AMAZING for me and at 165,000 miles Ive only had to replace the alternator that I actually broke. I drive her from CA to GA 3 times a year and sometimes further. Gas mileage is good for an SUV. Just needed to fix prior owner(s) misuse of her and now I have no problems whatsoever. Im getting ready to by a Tiburon because of the great results Ive had with my Santa Fe.

still love it - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Still Love it - December 24 - 5:36 amI have had this car now for about 1 1/2 years and only had 1 minor problem that the dealership took care of instantly. I am very satisfied after 1.5 years. Mileage could be better but I still enjoy all the features and the vehicle has held up well thus far. I use it a lot for work to transport things. I have no complaints with the vehicle thus far.

Great SUV - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By lpastrik - December 18 - 10:16 pmWeve had our Santa Fe for 3.5 years. It just hit 104,000 kms. Other than oil changes, we have had no problems. Minor things like cloth coming out from door handle a bit but that is it. Great ride, lots of storage, great for families. Considering buying it out at the end of our lease

HYUNDAI SANTA FE-GLS 2.7 AWD - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Lindar - December 14 - 10:00 amReally like the comfort, price and standard features. Drove both the 2.7 & 3.5 models at the dealer, found out that the 2.7 is just a TAD slower on pickup than the 3.5..the 3.5 would have cost me more, so I bought the 2.7. Am satisfied with the SUV on the whole.

Loving my Santa Fe - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By k79mill - December 11 - 9:33 amI love my new Santa Fe. I have had it 5 months & I still enjoy driving it. It drives fantastic both in town & on the highway. Has plenty of power for passing. Before buying my Santa Fe I was considering a Honda Pilot. I test drove the base model Pilot and decided on the Santa Fe. For the money the Santa Fe won hands down & the drivers seat was alot more comfortable too. The Santa Fe has a lot more features for the money.
