One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Modern versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe are midsize with three rows of seating, quality cabin furnishings and user-friendly tech features. Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers.   Just purchased a 2007 Santa Fe Limited AWD. The car is amazing. The redesign makes this SUV best in class. Looks and performs like a luxury SUV for thousands less!

  Great car for the money - 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

  I got more for my money than someone buying the Honda CRV. Mine came with a V6, CRV does not, mine is 540 lbs heavier than the CRV which gives it a better ride. Mine has a 3.5 L engine, CRV is about a 2.4 L engine. Plus I got the roof racks (side rails) included. CRV its an extra. I drove a new CRV and I like the feel of Santa FE much better. An all around sturdier car than the CRV, in my opinion.

  I have really enjoyed owning my Santa Fe. It combines the ease of driving of a car with the roominess and storage of an SUV. I cant say too much bad about it and I would definitely buy another.

  After reviewing saftey ratings, I chose to go with my first new car --and upgrade because I am now a parent. Great design, decent fuel econmy, BEST warranty ever, cant go wrong ehre!

  My Santa Fe Sport is my first crossover vehicle and is a blast to drive. For the first time, Im sitting up higher and I have greater road visibility. I test drove several other small SUVs, but the Sport had the smoothest ride and was the most comfortable.

  I bought it a year ago and, even when I see the new Santa Fe on the roads, Im very proud of my last years choice ! Nice, safe, excellent warranty and quality, needs only to get the scheduled maintenance and it runs forever... Its nice to have the automatic 4X4, in this way everybody can have it without even think about "when to switch it on" or "how to do it"... its just there, only when you need it !

  Out of round tires - 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe

  Upon delivery in Sept 2008, my 2008 Sante Fe had a very obvious shimmy on the highway. After failed attempts to remedy the defect by the dealer, I was sent to a Nissan sister dealer, where they determined that the Bridgestone tires were out of round. The selling dealer then exchanged all tires with tires from another new Sante Fe and the problem was solved after much time wasted by me. In my judgment, the car should not have been delivered to me with a shimmy which was noticeable. Dont they test drive cars before delivery to the customer? I cannot address an unresolved rattle here due to restricted space for this comment. Will submit another review for that.

  I use to have a 2000 Mustang convertible and after having my Santa Fe for almost, oh my god I love it so much. Being only 19 thats really hard to do for a sports car to lose to an SUV, but man I love the fact of going off road a little and I still can open my moon roof for the great sun.There isnt much more that I can say but everyone should have one. They get great gas mileage.

  I would normally say that the Santa Fe is a great SUV for the money, but thats not true. Its a great SUV. Period. That its inexpensive is a bonus! While some may complain of its "unimpressive powertrain," what theyre complaining about is the fact that this is not a race-SUV, or an off- roader. If you want off-roading, go elsewhere; this is a family vehicle that can handle trails of the NORMAL variety. It can handle soccer games, radio controlled planes, and trips from Grandmas at Christmas. I enthusiastically recommend this vehicle!

  I just purchased a 2009 Limited AWD Santa Fe, and I am so glad I did. It looks and drives like a luxury SUV. It really has all possible safety features available today, and feels secure. I would recommend any of the new Hyundai because of the huge improvements done in these recent years.
