Overview & Reviews
The Hyundai Santa Fe has been redesigned for the 2007 model year. Compared to last year's model, the new Santa Fe is larger, safer, more powerful and more luxurious.
- Upscale interior with high-quality materials, competitive price, long warranty, many standard safety features, optional third-row seat.
- Overly firm ride on SE and Limited trims, automatic transmission sometimes slow to respond, unimpressive brakes.

Excellent Value - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Mike - December 9 - 3:40 pmWe tested a lot of medium SUVs, and we finally chose this car for its style and value. The road noise is pleasantly quiet for a car of this type. The thermometer and compass (both standard equipment) were big pluses. We strongly recommend the larger (3.3L) V6 engine for its better acceleration and handling. The Santa Fe has been a joy to drive. It feels more like a car than a SUV. Our gas mileage has been 20.5 mpg in combined city/hwy driving.

Santa Fe alright by me - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By nebulouse - December 5 - 5:51 amI bought my 2007 Santa Fe in 2010 when it had 58xxx miles. It now has 166xxx miles. Ive never reviewed a car so Im going to throw it all out there. The car is a stud, Ive had it through winters in both Colorado and New York. The AWD is exceptional and even in 2 feet+ of snow the vehicle pulls like a beast, even with the smaller engine. Ive been stuck in a snowstorm pulling a 5x10 uhaul trailer and buzzed right passed all the stranded vehicles. I have the 3rd row seating model and it has been perfect for all my kids. I added a Phillips rear entertainment system and it wired in easily. Also replaced the head unit with a Sony Bluetooth/XM model.

By foxy brown - December 4 - 10:20 pmSo far so good. This is my first SVC and Im having a great time with it. I previously had an XG350 and I loved it so I decided to try this. I love the blue lighted dash it makes it a little classy. The handling is great. I look forward to the winter to see how it will handle.

Awesome SUV - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Fred - November 29 - 9:13 pmDont be put off by the name Hyundai. They are building some of the best cars out there and the 2007 Santa Fe is no exception. The car is almost flawless in the fit and finish. The paint quality is superb. The gas mileage is around 22 which is pretty good for a seven seat SUV. The engine is whisper quiet even when cold. It is like getting a Lexus at half price! I hit a Deer with the Santa Fe going about 40 and killed the deer. The car only had a tiny dent on the bumber so you know they are built well. The 18" tires are nice and standard. Well done Hyundai!

So far so good - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By New Santa Fe - November 25 - 4:30 pmTest drove CR-V, RAV4,Mazda CX-7,Ford Edge,Suzuki XL7, Mitsubish Outlander, Chevy Equinox all very nice CUVs, but the Santa Fe just stood out. We narrowed it down to 2 cars the CR-V and the Santa Fe. Hyundai won with its warranty, size, extras that Honda didnt have as standard, and most of all price! Paid quite a bit below invoice. Drives like a car. We still cant understand why Consumers Reports recommends RAV4, not nearly as nice. This is my husbands car for work, but I think Ill be stealing it once in a while. Anyone who paid a fortune for a upscale CUV just wasted their money.

Love The Car - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By bob H - November 8 - 5:20 pmJust purchased this vehicle, took ride from Florida to North Carolina. Santa Fe rode just like a car not a SUV. Owned car for 1 week now, put on 1500 miles and love it. Gas mileage not bad, 26-28 mpg depending on your speed on highway. Not Hybriid mileage, but acceptable. Nothing negative to say about car.

Trailer pre-wiring - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By drivetofly - November 7 - 8:46 pmMy opinion is that the trailer pre wiring package is a fraud. THere is no adapter to plug and play into the fittings on the vehicle. The wiring harness available from the manufacturer splices into brake lights. This should be considered a major manufacturing defect.
