Overview & Reviews
One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Modern versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe are midsize with three rows of seating, quality cabin furnishings and user-friendly tech features. Whether you're shopping for a new or used Santa Fe, value is a big part of its appeal. The standard equipment list is generous, as is Hyundai's warranty coverage.
Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers. The 2007 and later models are a big step up in styling, performance and interior space, and they're worth considering if you're shopping for a used midsize crossover. Hyundai has since subdivided the Santa Fe line into two models: the two-row Santa Fe Sport and the three-row Santa Fe. The latter is more luxurious than its predecessors, offering premium styling and plenty of power.

2004 Santa Fe - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Tomasi - December 3 - 2:00 amDrives well, has sufficient power for moderate hills (2.7 ltr). OK fuel economy (23.5 mpg at 75 mph on 8 hr trip), but expected somewhat better. Plently of cargo space for two, but would be pressed for bagage space for 2 adults and 2 kids. Excellent front windshield view. Seams to be well built and solid.

Hyundai Doing It Right Now - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Bob - December 1 - 7:13 amA former 05 Santa Fe owner, my 07 Limited SF is a major improvement. Impressive interior, greater driver visibility, smooth ride, excellent turning ratio, and all the goodies included. Truly a highway ride joy. Bought the Ebony Black and it gets many head turners. How do they do it at the price? - Before u buy Honda or Toyota, check it out. Unbeatable warranty too!

Not Impressed so far - 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe
By JR_Colorado - November 29 - 9:26 pmWith only 600 miles I am starting to feel like this was a bad decision. Transmission is already acting strange. It cant seem to find the right gear going up a hill. Very frustrating. Dealer says this may be a "break in" issue, but I have never had a transmission have a "break in" period, so I am skeptical. installing the roof rack rails was VERY frustrating. Broke one of the rail covers putting the rails on. Poorly designed rail system. Whats up with the rear blinkers. I do not feel safe with blinkers mostly on the side and not in the rear!!!!! What were their engineers thinking. I fell for the $3000 REBATE. I just hope I am wrong about this vehicle.

By Artifax - November 29 - 10:00 amMy 2001-5 speed Santa Fe sticker price was the same as some other used vehicles I looked at. Styling is sharp, interior space is best in catagory, performance and handeling are good for a small SUV

Santa Fe Limited Extrodinaire! - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Randy G. - November 28 - 12:10 amWhat a superb mid-size SUV. The styling is dynamite, inside and out. Very well engineered and it shows in the smallest of details. The build quality is awesome. I have not had one single problem or flaw since I purchased it. The ride is smooth and controlled and actually unbelievably good for a vehicle of this weight and size. There is absolutely no wind noise - even at 70 mph and the doors sound like a bank vault when they close. The attention to detail is indicative of a high-end Asian or German sedan. Im delighted I made the right purchase decision on this SUV. I have owned 22 new vehicles in my life and can truly this one is the best. Try the new Santa Fe Limited!
