Great Buy!! - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By PRY1782 - August 8 - 3:00 amI have owned my Santa Fe for 2 years and have loved it completely. Taken multiple trips out west and have had no problems. If driven properly on highway, it gets 24mpg. Otherwise it stays around 20mpg. For the money, this is the best SUV to buy. Have yet to get it stuck with the AWD. I would absolutely recommend this vehicle to others and am going to get another one in the future.

Excellent Crossover SUV - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By MalZ - July 13 - 8:20 pmI have a 2007 FWD SE Santa Fe in Slate Blue and I am very impressed and happy with my purchase. The Santa Fe handles well, looks good and is fun to drive. On top of that, it comes with one of the best warranties available all at a great price. I havent had a chance to do any long distance driving yet, but in city driving and on my 15 mile commute I have been getting around 21 MPG.

Hyundai - shame on you - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By mbb7 - July 13 - 2:27 amI purchased the Hyundai because they touted their long warranty. I have attempted to have a vent knob repaired, which is covered "under warranty". The car has been to the dealer 3 times (a total of 18 hours) and I have spent over 3 hours on the phone to try and convince HyundaiUSA to fulfill their warranty. Each time I bring it to the dealer, they conveniently find another item that needs to be repaired, that is not covered by warranty. The dealer insists that it will take them, "the majority of the day", to repair and "I must leave it with them". I obtained a part to repair it myself. It took 4 minutes and 25 seconds. HyundaiUSA shame on you for condoning these unscrupulous actions.

Great suv - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By R Haines - July 12 - 1:06 amThis is one of the best cars I have ever owned. I reviewed every vehicle in this category and I found this was by far the best choice for me. We have had one year of trouble free driving and I still would buy the Santa Fe again. I love the ride, the interior, the quietness, and the performance. All my friends are impressed with this vehicle because we can carry four or five comfortably. The size is just right. I have never gotten less than 20 mpg.

By Ed Brunson - June 1 - 11:20 pmWe initially overlooked the SF, mainly due to the old stigma of Hyundai. We looked at The Toyotas RAV4 and Highlander, the Honda CRV, the Ford Edge and the Mitsubishi Outlander. All had their good and bad qualities. I did the research and decided to take another look at the SF. Im glad we did. The SF excelled in appearence, safety features, warranty & price. It was easily $3-5,000 less than the other models, loaded. Hyundai really did their homework, its like they took the best attributes of all of the vehicles we tested and put them in one package. Their attention to detail on the interior is noticible. Granted, its not perfect, but for the price, its an exceptional value.

Works Well - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Ralph - May 12 - 2:06 pmSo far, we are pleased with the vehicle. The car isnt particularly powerful or sporty handling, but it drives well enough to be competitive. It is gas thirsty for such a small engine. The car does have an excellent array of safety features and the new interior design is attractive. Interior space is very good, and, at 64", I appreciate the headroom and center console positioning.

LOVE MY CAR - Not the fabric - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Kristin - May 8 - 5:30 pmI owned a 2003 Hyundai Sante Fe, and LOVED it; drove it into the ground. Once it died, I was being pushed to buy a Tucson, which I didnt like. I bought the new Sante Fe SE and LOVE the black mahogany type trim on the dash, and easily accessible dash features. The fabric in the newer models as well as the interior trim of the doors is much less durable, with scuff marks appearing very easily. The older models had a more "chenille" type fabric, but the newer models have a flat and rough type fabric. I LOVE the "Miles to Empty" Gas Gauge!!! This car handles smoothly and is MUCH quieter than Hyundais other models.

A Winner - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By jabbott - May 4 - 9:33 pmCar is new but already has shown good manners. Eye height is high, a feature we wanted. Entry and exit is easy, a feature we demanded. Full list of safety features was absolutely essential. Ours is the five person capacity model, which was our choice. The storage provided by the lack of the third row seat is much more usable to us that the seat would ever be. The exterior color is good, the name of the exterior color - khaki - is probably a turn off for some folks. It was time for the mini-van to go, hello SUV.

quality of paint coat - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By kessler17 - April 18 - 12:32 pmI have a 1996 Ford Taurus with 155000 miles on it and a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe with 15000 miles on it. Both cars are driven on similar roads most of the time. The Taurus has scratches on the body but no rust spots whereas the where ever there are scratches on the Hyundai, it starts to rust. This is a major problem with this SUV.
