Model Overview:

One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Modern versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe are midsize with three rows of seating, quality cabin furnishings and user-friendly tech features. Whether you're shopping for a new or used Santa Fe, value is a big part of its appeal. The standard equipment list is generous, as is Hyundai's warranty coverage.

Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers. The 2007 and later models are a big step up in styling, performance and interior space, and they're worth considering if you're shopping for a used midsize crossover. Hyundai has since subdivided the Santa Fe line into two models: the two-row Santa Fe Sport and the three-row Santa Fe. The latter is more luxurious than its predecessors, offering premium styling and plenty of power.

I bought this suv because it road so smooth and quiet which makes the 605 Watt stereo sound even better. With 10 speakers and suround sound if you put in a cd and turn it up too loud you might lose your lunch. It has a lot of other Nice features too.

Switched over from a Passat. Looked at numerous other midsize SUVs. Santa Fe was the best for our needs at the right price. No more paying for Premium gas. Halleluyah! I was concerned about the reputation of Hyundai. Not any more. This car is really a great ride and the exterior design is outstanding. Handling is great as is roominess/cargo space. Too bad Hyundais leasing deals are awful. I am confident this car would outproduce the Murano and CRV if Hyundai had favorable lease terms.

We added this to our 2013 Sonata after the other midsize SUV we lease was bought back by another manufacturer as a lemon. We are incredibly impressed with all of the features in this car. It looks great, rides nicely, if a bit firm, has tons of room for 2 car seats and all the stuff that little kids come with and great technology. I admit that the panoramic sunroof was one of the biggest selling features. If you havent seen it - you must - it beats all other competitors. The only demerits I give are on the telescoping steering wheel - wish it came back a little more and the rear view camera - the lines do not move when you turn the wheel - which is weird as the Sonata does.

Only owm the car for 2 weeks and love it. Was not looking for a Hyundai until I spotted it on the dealers lot. Once I drove it, I had to own it. Got a great deal and so far am happy with the purchase, a lot of classy vehicle for the money. Love the performance, ride, and interior. Great leather seats.

Have car for 31/2 years and have had no problems. Wife loves the SUV. Mileage on trips 23-24 which is what they advertised. Was the first in our Church parking lot and now we must have 5 or 6 more.

I am ver happy with my mid size suv except for the stereo system and the gas limeage. I am getting 18 miles/gallon at the best. The stereo system in not very clear.

We traded in a fully loaded 5.9ltr Dodge Durango for the Sante Fe because of the rising fuel costs. We own an Elantra and are very happy so far with Hyundai products. We were very happy with our decision, though I miss the manliness of the Durango. I dont miss driving the Durango to the gas station every other day. My wife and I were surprised at how well the Sante Fe handles in the snow. It is, dare I say, the best handling 4x4 I have ever owned, and I have owned everthing from jeeps to trucks. Our model has traction control as an option, and my only major complaint is that it is no fun to drive in the snow because it just goes and goes. It is not squirrely to drive like my jeep was.

I OWN A 2003 HYUNDAI SANTA FE LX 3.5L ALL WHEEL DRIVE WITH A SUNROOF. ITS HARD TO BELEIVE THAT HYUNDAI CAN PUT SO MANY OPTIONS IN A VEHICLE AT SUCH A GOOD PRICE. THIS VEHICLE IS NOT A WOOSIE TRUCK. ITS GOT GOOD LOOKS AND PLENTY OF TINTED GLASS. HIT THE GAS AND YOU ARE AIR BORNE. WITH THE MOONSOON SOUND SYSTEM CRANKING 218 WATTS YOU CAN HEAR AND FEEL AND ENJOY EVERY BEAT. SOFT LEATHER SEATS. "DRIVING IS BELIEVING."

  • the first 2000 miles - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe

After 3 weeks I think this vehicle is terrific. Not a single complaint - it has plenty of pep, good looking, quality touches (small body gaps, plastics look good, refined dash panel, smooth lines), very quiet, high safety ratings, unbeatable value. The new design caught my eye. I approached skeptically as previous version was rough and noisy, but I was completely turned around after a test and research. Hwy mileage 25-27mpg (driving 75mph vs 55), and 17 in city traffic of Washington DC. About what I expected. This car is a keeper. Very comfortable city-hauler. My other car, which I bought new and still own after 16 years is a Lexus LS 400. Lexus, Hyundai is coming. No joke.

  • First Import Auto - 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe

For the last 30 years I was loyal domestic cars owner. However the last experience with my 2003 Chevy Venture has changed my mind. I have decided to buy import. So far I like my Santa Fe. Its fan to drive and very functional.
