Overview & Reviews
One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Modern versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe are midsize with three rows of seating, quality cabin furnishings and user-friendly tech features. Whether you're shopping for a new or used Santa Fe, value is a big part of its appeal. The standard equipment list is generous, as is Hyundai's warranty coverage.
Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers. The 2007 and later models are a big step up in styling, performance and interior space, and they're worth considering if you're shopping for a used midsize crossover. Hyundai has since subdivided the Santa Fe line into two models: the two-row Santa Fe Sport and the three-row Santa Fe. The latter is more luxurious than its predecessors, offering premium styling and plenty of power.

I get asked about my Santa Fe a lot... - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By aquacies - September 22 - 2:00 amI always tell people that we love it and that the warranty cant be beat. You would pay $5000-7000 more for any other car in its class with all its features. The styling is sporty, yet carries 5 people comfortably. The cargo area is roomy and the fold-down rear seats expand that more. It also has get- up-and-go that you wouldnt expect. We are very satisfied with our purchase and what we received for the price we paid. We would also recommend our dealership to anyone - they treated us far better than any other we tried dealing with.

My 1st brand new truck - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By HisWife - September 22 - 2:00 amI bought my Santa Fe in May of 2003. My first new truck from a dealership. I was so excited. I drove home and it was making a hissing sound under the hood. Called the next day, the told me I can bring it there in 2 weeks. I was so upset. Brand new car making noise for 2 weeks. Turns out it was a bad belt. Ok, this is a beautiful little truck. I do enjoy it. Its reliable and drives nicely. The only complaint I have and I see others have is that there is absolutely NO pick up.

Best Car I Ever Had in 28 Years Driving - 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe
By satisfied - September 19 - 9:53 amIve been driving for 28 years and this is the best car I ever owned. It seats 4 comfortably and I can haul a lot of stuff when I put the seats down. Fuel mileage is excellent for a car with this much storage. After reading about terrible problems in the automatic gear shift from 1st to 2nd, I made sure to check this out repeatedly during the test drive. 10 months later, I have zero problems with that or anything else. I got all the upgrades except for the navigation system and the roof rack. Im thinking of getting one for my wife and get the $3,500 govt "CARS" plan since the MPG difference qualifies. Unless you get a rare lemon, this is really a great crossover.

First SUV Fun - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Norm - September 18 - 9:10 amAfter test driving around 10 other SUVs my top choice was the Santa Fe. We tend to be a low mileage family (currently our 2002 Grand Caravan just turned 40,000), I was looking at something that I plan to drive into the ground. I needed a vehicle to haul our young children and my fishing tackle. So many aspects drew me to the Santa Fe. I would recommend this to anyone.

Santa Fe vs. Escape - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Bridge - September 16 - 2:00 amMy wife and I spent three weeks doing our homework on small SUVS. Our criteria were mpg, monthly payments, and quality. We had a great deal for the Escape, but eventually decided on purchasing the Santa Fe due to a much classier/comfortable interior and a greater list of overall standard options. Seating in the Hyundai was much more comfortable and plush. In the end, we have a much higher quality vehicle with a stronger warranty. Hyundai apparently is following Hondas initial footsteps by increasing quality or losing the American market. Five years ago, I would not have even considered a Hyundai.

Base 07 Santa Fe Review - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By frank - September 15 - 10:33 amHyundais first US designed and manufactured model is awesome. I have people thinking this is the Infiniti FX35 or the Acura MDX when they look at it from different angles! I have the arctic white 2.7L engine with the automatic/sportronic transmission. This car has enough power with this engine to do what it needs to do, carry my wife and my baby with space for the stroller/etc in the cargo area. Great looks inside and out. People think this is a luxury car whenever they see it, since it has great interior(wood grain trimming, fake aluminim trimming, and dual color dashboard/interior). Second row has its own storage(floor shelves, backseat pockets) and air conditioning!
