Model Overview:

One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Modern versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe are midsize with three rows of seating, quality cabin furnishings and user-friendly tech features. Whether you're shopping for a new or used Santa Fe, value is a big part of its appeal. The standard equipment list is generous, as is Hyundai's warranty coverage.

Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers. The 2007 and later models are a big step up in styling, performance and interior space, and they're worth considering if you're shopping for a used midsize crossover. Hyundai has since subdivided the Santa Fe line into two models: the two-row Santa Fe Sport and the three-row Santa Fe. The latter is more luxurious than its predecessors, offering premium styling and plenty of power.

  • Nice vehicle - 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe

Typically drive in metro environment and have averaged 22 mpg so far. I like the look of the vehicle and the bang for the buck! The interior is well thought out and the kids love the reclining rear seats. I like the hidden storage and that the drivers seat can be raised or lowered. Recently found the stability control works well (driving on icy roads) and that is something I couldnt do easily before (in a truck). Very happy with this Santa Fe and look forward to continued satisfaction.

  • could be better - 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe

Its been 3 months since i won this car. The features are really good for the price compared to competitors.I really like the smart cruise, sunroof and DBL features. And the warranty is reallly good. Below are the areas it needs lot of improvement 1. Navigation : worst navigation system, half of the address are not found 2. Noise, there is considerable road noise coming from behind, which leads to bad ride experience. 3. Lowest fuel economy in this segment. 4. Cargo space is less compared to pilot/highlander

  • What a vehicle !!! - 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe

V6 GLS, front wheel drive, with traction control and ABS. Its bigger and rides smoother than a RAV 4,in my opinion, and is not as bulky as a Ford Explorer. Great warranty !!! Its a blast to drive. The 6cylinder is peppy, and seems to want to leap forward with little nudging of the gas pedal. The chassis smooths out those nasty New England potholes, bridge expansion joints, and ripples. The cloth seats were stiff, and bland, so we added leather seats (Katskin) which have an extra half inch of foam backing. We added seat heaters, and a Webasto sunroof.

  • Who knew a Hyundai is this good? - 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe

Good value for the money. Expected to buy a used RAV4 or similar small CUV but got a good deal: MSRP at 27k, bought at 23k. Wish sunroof came standard but having it added, which upped price to 24k out the door. Comfortable, stylish, good cargo space. I had smaller, sportier cars before this so Im adjusting to driving a mid-sized SUV. Easy to drive and very good acceleration.

  • Best of the best - 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

My Santa Fe is a pleasure to drive. The comfort equals the luxury of a touring sedan. Handling is quick and very responsive with little leaning movement. Both normal and evasive braking w/ABS, even on wet roads, is excellent. Interior standard equipment, optional on most other SUVs, is far superior. The sterio system is both powerful and pleasurable. The radio tuning in system is incredible bringing in FM stations more than 60 miles away. The five year bumper to bumper warrantee is the best of all not to leave out the ten year 100,000 miles power train warrentee which dwarfs the other top named car companies. Tires for life is another standard feature which makes your choice even easier.
