Model Overview:

One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Modern versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe are midsize with three rows of seating, quality cabin furnishings and user-friendly tech features. Whether you're shopping for a new or used Santa Fe, value is a big part of its appeal. The standard equipment list is generous, as is Hyundai's warranty coverage.

Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers. The 2007 and later models are a big step up in styling, performance and interior space, and they're worth considering if you're shopping for a used midsize crossover. Hyundai has since subdivided the Santa Fe line into two models: the two-row Santa Fe Sport and the three-row Santa Fe. The latter is more luxurious than its predecessors, offering premium styling and plenty of power.

  • Luv the 2008 Santa Fe - 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe

Car is so quiet and smooth. Luv the bigger V-6, almost unnoticeable when it shifts. SE has very nice interior. Very comfortable. Great mileage...21 local...24 highway. Better mileage than 2003 which had small V-6. Had 2003 Santa Fe 5 years..enjoyed it so much there was no question when we went to look for a new car. No mechanical probs on the 2003 & after Id wash it it looked like new car even after 5 years. When u consider the price & warranty, my 2008 Santa Fee is a "no-brainer"!

I couldnt be happier with my Santa Fe. Ive had to replace a headlight bulb and the tires but the rest has just been maintainence. I just switched it over to synthetic oil and had the transmission flushed and the thing is riding smoother than I can remember in quite a while. The factory cd deck died on me but that just gave me an excuse to by a nicer one. All in all, Im very pleased.

  • Loving It! - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe

I have had the vehicle for over a week now: it drives great and the comfort is awesome. Moving form a Kia Sportage to the Santa Fe is liking moving up to a luzury car. I purchased a fully loaded vehicle - encluding the entertainament pkg -for only a few thousand more than my Sportage. The road side service and warranty pkg was not to bad either. This vehicle was worth the shopping around I did. Great product for a great price.

Ive had my SantaFe for 8 weeks now and I am so pleased. It is my first 4x4, but it has all the comforts of a luxury vehicle. It has also already helped my get to my job at the hospital during 2 snowstorms.I just pulled out of my parking space in 13 inches of snow. I am very impressed with the traction control. I feel very safe.

  • Wow, pleasure to drive and look at!!! - 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe

I tried several of the competitors vehicles, then we saw a Santa Fe on the highway. We road-tested it and bought one. The stylish looks are far superior to others in same class. The vehicle is comfortable, quiet and powerful enough to be a pleasure to drive. The Santa Fe handles well and offers plenty of room for back seat passengers. Lots of space in cargo compartment with easy access through hatch or door.

  • A $50K quality CUV for closer to 30K - 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe

Bought a Juniper Green with Beige AWD 2.0T at the end of July. Loaded with everything, save for remote start. This CUV replaces my old 07 SF LTD. This new version is sportier, better looking, tighter, and a lot more fun to drive. The interior is great, so much more comfortable than my 07. Everything is within reach and very easy to use. The Nav/Radio/Back up camera is really nice. The 12 speaker surround sound is concert hall quality. The 2.0 Turbo is a stout little workhorse that has plenty of zip. theres nothing i dont like about my new Santa Fe.

I did a lot of research and the Santa Fe seemed to be the best buy, hands- down! My wife fell in love with it at first sight (she did that with me, too!). Slick, modern lines with just enough agressiveness in the style to make the statement, "Move over Lexus and BMW -- heres the new kid on the block and at the country club." The styling is first-class and the ride smooth as silk. My daughter and son-in- law are ready to trade in their CRV...

I just bought a 2002 GLS 2wd and I love it! Paid less than sticker for it and got a beautiful Pewter car. I have already put 1000 miles on it and not a complaint to think of! Thanks Hyundai for such a wonderful car.

  • Great value and very comfortable ride - 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe

Great car for the price, about same size as the Lexus RX, but $20k less, and certainly not as luxurious. Plenty of room for a 6 driver. Nice amenities and leather interior. Comfortable ride with plenty of passing power. Averaged about 23 mpg driving from San Fran to LA and back, mostly at 75 to 85 mph. Was a little surprised to notice in the door panel that the car was manufactured in Aug, 07.
