Overview & Reviews
One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Modern versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe are midsize with three rows of seating, quality cabin furnishings and user-friendly tech features. Whether you're shopping for a new or used Santa Fe, value is a big part of its appeal. The standard equipment list is generous, as is Hyundai's warranty coverage.
Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers. The 2007 and later models are a big step up in styling, performance and interior space, and they're worth considering if you're shopping for a used midsize crossover. Hyundai has since subdivided the Santa Fe line into two models: the two-row Santa Fe Sport and the three-row Santa Fe. The latter is more luxurious than its predecessors, offering premium styling and plenty of power.

Love my Crystal Blue Santa Fe LX AWD... - 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Matt-Guy - July 4 - 2:00 amGreat car for the money, I looked at everything, CRV, Vibe, Matrix, Rav4, Escape, Sportage, XL7, ect... And none of them came as nicely packaged as the santa fe. With such features as Heated leather seats, Automatic climate control with outside tempeture gauge, AWD and V6, coupled to a sportronic shifting automatic transmission, and not to mention the Tape+CD player who could refuse for under 23k. Heck they even threw in the plastic mud guard for the cargo area, roof crossrails, Trailer hitch, and mudguards all out the door (Taxes, tags ect...) for 23700. Cannot be beat by the competitors. Best Bang for buck in the SUV arena.

Love my Santa Fe - 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Happy1 - June 28 - 10:00 amAll I wanted was a utility vehicle to carry the things you usually cant fit into a sedans trunk, like furniture, large boxes, garden equipment, etc. I got a lot more. This little SUV has plenty of room for people and cargo. It has a good looking, comfortable interior with all the necessary bells and whistles. It handles and rides like a sedan. Im a 225 lb six-footer, and Ive got plenty of room. Even with my drivers seat in a comfortable position, an adult can sit behind me with ample legroom. The vehicle was built very well, with absolutely no defects.

07 Santa Fe Experience - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By David<>< - June 21 - 10:00 pmThis vehicle handles more like a fine tuned sport sedan, rather than a mid sized SUV. So far, with just a few hundred miles on it, my gasoline mileage is at about 19 with most of it being highway speeds. I think this will improve over time.

My new Hyundai - 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe
By katiesmom - June 21 - 7:50 pmHeated seats, moon roof, leather seats, 6-CD player, defroster for side mirrors, and numerous other options. This SUV has it all! Throw in the smooth ride, fast acceleration, excellent visibility, and you have a wonderful family vehicle that is also fun to drive. With electronic 4-WD this puppy is going to do some serious travel.
