Overview & Reviews
One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Modern versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe are midsize with three rows of seating, quality cabin furnishings and user-friendly tech features. Whether you're shopping for a new or used Santa Fe, value is a big part of its appeal. The standard equipment list is generous, as is Hyundai's warranty coverage.
Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers. The 2007 and later models are a big step up in styling, performance and interior space, and they're worth considering if you're shopping for a used midsize crossover. Hyundai has since subdivided the Santa Fe line into two models: the two-row Santa Fe Sport and the three-row Santa Fe. The latter is more luxurious than its predecessors, offering premium styling and plenty of power.

2005 santa fe - 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe
By hawk - October 21 - 8:40 amIve had this car for a year now and have taken several road trips, so now believe I can really eval. the car. No problems with relability, or driving so far. Inside however is a different story. some of the controls are confusing to operate, not real comfortable on long trips, and the fold down back seats get stuck everytime I need to use them. The worst problem is the dealership and service dept. At first I thought they were going to be great, as they bent over backwards to make me happy at purchasing, but getting service or support after the fact, forget it!

Glad I got it - 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe
By denvertrakker - October 15 - 11:00 amIm a little over a month, and 1500 miles from purchase, and Im a happy camper. This is one of the nicest vehicles Ive ever owned - better than my Acura, Subaru, Nissan and most everything else. (Well, my Vette was more fun) I have had no concerns with the transmission as a few others have. Ive gone on a few trips, including up into the high country in Colorado, and the car is a delight. Comfortable, stylish, convenience features galore, decent sound system, and never less than 22 MPG. Ya just have to drive thoughtfully, folks! All in all, an excellent experience.

Great Value - 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe
By cfgroff - October 12 - 10:00 amI was first conserned about buying a Hyundai because of there reputation of being a poorly built auto. However my conserns are know none existent because my Sante Fe has ran beautifully for three straight years. I do alot of traveling on the weekends and I have always had room for all my luggage or whatever else I may carrying in the rear. I would encourage people to give Hyundia a try well at least the Sante Fe.

Hyundai, the new peoples car - 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Mike - October 11 - 2:03 amI drove my 2012 Hyundai 6cyl SE for 3.5 years and 90,000 miles. No glitches. I changed from Subaru when my 13th displayed multiple flaws in quality, reliability and design. Hyundai is what Subaru used to be but with better styling. Its affordable, reliable and fun to drive. I recently traded it in on a 2016 Santa Fe 6 seat with 6cyl. and am pleased with the evolution to the new design.

Good SUV, Poor FM Radio - 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe
By John - October 3 - 5:03 pmAfter tons of research, we went with the Santa Fe. Consumers top pick for mid-size SUV. With the warranty and price, seemed like a good deal. Gas MPG is about 20 for city driving. Got the premium package. Heated seat are nice.
