One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers.   Wasnt planning on buying a vehicle that day. Went to test drive the Sonata and decided to drive a Santa Fe while we were there. My husband and I fell in love with it instantly. Love the huge sunroof(much larger than sunroofs on other vehicles we drove). I havent found anything yet that I dont like about it.

  I love my Santa Fe. Great amount of space, nice interior design and comfortable to drive and I feel safe knowing that I have roadside assistance for five years. I just love it!!!

  Checked out everything else prior, and I mean everything. Wife suggested Santa Fe and I reluctantly added it to the mix. (What can the Koreans possibly have to offer?) What a pleasant surprise. Fit, finish, comfort, performance, price & just plain fun to drive. Only major downside: My wife wont let me drive it, I have to take the Lexus to work!

  Odor in AC - 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe

  I bought a Hyundai Santa Fe from Coconut Creek and complained about the odor in my car. They would not honor my warranty and wanted to charge $140 for repairs. I took it to another dealer and they used disinfectant and the smell came back. Hyundai admits the problem because they changed the ionizer to eliminate bad odors. I wouldnt buy another Hyundai again since they are not standing behind their problem with the AC

  I have read a lot about different owners obtaining either normal or low mileage with the SF. My vehicle (2.7L- 4sp auto)is rated for 24/20. If driven carefully, coasting, no jackrabbits, moderate 50 mph speeds, I have obtained 30 mpg on long trips. My normal is around 22 mpg. So much depends on your driving style. For those with low mileage, get the lead out of your shoes.

  I was hesitant about buying a Hyundai vehicle because of their past reputation. Liked the look of the redesigned Santa Fe and read positive reviews so decided to purchase and very glad I did. The Santa Fe has been a reliable and enjoyable vehicle for over 15 months. The ride is a little firm but not overly jarring and there is a rattle somewhere in the back that comes and goes. The local Hyundai dealer has been very pleasant to deal with for scheduled services. So far Im very pleased with the vehicle.

  Excellent mini-SUV. True to the manufactures description and design. However, power seats added to the already great list of standard would be a big plus. No complaints from this Santa Fe owner on its performance. Good little ride and safe design.

  this vehicle has really earned my respect since ive owned my santa fe,ive not had one problem with it.at first i was kind of skepticle has to if i made the right discision to purchase a hyundai due to hyundais past history of reliability,but i must say im very much impressed. not only do i know i made the write discision,im glad i did as well.
