Overview & Reviews
One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Modern versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe are midsize with three rows of seating, quality cabin furnishings and user-friendly tech features. Whether you're shopping for a new or used Santa Fe, value is a big part of its appeal. The standard equipment list is generous, as is Hyundai's warranty coverage.
Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers. The 2007 and later models are a big step up in styling, performance and interior space, and they're worth considering if you're shopping for a used midsize crossover. Hyundai has since subdivided the Santa Fe line into two models: the two-row Santa Fe Sport and the three-row Santa Fe. The latter is more luxurious than its predecessors, offering premium styling and plenty of power.

A Great Vehicle - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By HyScott - February 12 - 5:03 amI do owe this car a hand. It has been a really great economical and reliable car. We have always had either European luxury cars or GM SUVs so this car had a lot against it to impress me. This was my first car and definitely not my last Hyundai. They handle VERY well and are extremely easy to drive and operate. The interior is bland but has some accents that set it above GM and Toyota. All of the V6 Santas have leather wrapped steering wheels and gear selectors, many other marks donÂ’t. The sound system is surprisingly good and will blow away any base system on other marks. The manual mode on the transmission is GREAT, and I love how they went the extra mile on it.

Sante Fe - 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe
By wmpatton - February 10 - 2:00 amI was originally hesitant to buy a Korean car but the warranty was so appealing I thought it was worth the risk. After almost two years and 44,000 miles Ive had zero problems and no warranty work whatsoever. Quality so far is incredible. Great fun and reliable.

A very good experience - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By mjt3rd - February 10 - 2:00 amIts a fun car to drive. A bit underpowered, but not so much as to make it undesireable. There is some body roll in hard cornering, but it is still acceptable. The ride is car like and the seating is quite comfortable. Standard features go on and on. Monsoon stereo is awesome.

More 2 come - 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
By upsetw/professionali - February 7 - 10:53 pmMy wife and I purchased a 2010 Santa Fe from the Wayne auto mall on route 23 on June 17. Before leaving the dealership we realized the hood did not open and the driver door did not close correctly. My wife was very excited with the new purchase and wanted to bring it back in the morning to be what we thought a half hour adjustment, she waited for 2 hours to be told that we might need a loaner. Should a brand new car have these issues? How will the dealership handle their faulty product? Will let all know the outcome

Luv my Sante Fe - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By msmomof2 - February 5 - 10:00 amVery spunky V6. My husband loves the speed shift feature. Theres some wind noise from the sunroof but its tolerable. Plenty of cargo room. Lots of extras (leather, 6 disc player, auto A/C, sunroof) for the money. Great gas mileage (app 22 mpg in city - and I have a heavy foot)!!

3.5L engine makes it happen - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By T Pres - February 5 - 10:00 amThe 3.5L engine gives this vehicle the only thing that was missing when comparing to other SUVs. With a price out the door with taxes at $25,000, its a steal. No other SUV can match that price with all the extra features that are included in the price.

Best vehicle we have ever had - 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe
By L. Watson - February 2 - 2:43 amVehicle is attractive, comfortable, and drives like a dream. We are senior citizens and need the realiability. Easy to enter and exit for tall or large people. Came with all the extras of the higher priced SUVs. The warranty made the deal perfect for us.

This really is a great suv - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By D.B. - January 31 - 6:23 pmI have had this car less than a week, and I love it. I owned two CRVs prior to this. Even though I had confidence in the quality Honda provides, the loud interior noise was getting to me and I was tired of waiting for the "new" 2007 honda crv to find out if the cabin noise had improved. The santa fe is more of a luxury feeling car. Its smooth and quiet. I purchased the 3.3 litre with front wheel drive.
