Overview & Reviews
One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Modern versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe are midsize with three rows of seating, quality cabin furnishings and user-friendly tech features. Whether you're shopping for a new or used Santa Fe, value is a big part of its appeal. The standard equipment list is generous, as is Hyundai's warranty coverage.
Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers. The 2007 and later models are a big step up in styling, performance and interior space, and they're worth considering if you're shopping for a used midsize crossover. Hyundai has since subdivided the Santa Fe line into two models: the two-row Santa Fe Sport and the three-row Santa Fe. The latter is more luxurious than its predecessors, offering premium styling and plenty of power.

good choice so far - 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Sandy-1 - March 20 - 10:00 amAfter 18000 miles so far so good. The only problem was when I filled up with gas I kept filling until it wouldnt barf anymore, or some would say overfilled. The warning light in dash came on. Upon check at service dept the computer said gas tank vapor check valve stuck. I wonder why? It was replaced. Dont overfill.

Santa Fe All The Way - 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe
By smoothyq - March 20 - 10:00 amI bought my Sante Fe June 2001. I love it. I havent had any trouble out of it. Its very dependable and drives great. The mileage is reasonable for an SUV 19/26. The seating is quite comfortable, with many settings. With its 4-wheel independent suspension makes it handle smoothly.

We love our 2013 SFS Limited - 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe
By miker204 - March 17 - 9:01 pmMy wife and I picked up our Limited SFS a week and a bit ago and it has been fantastic. I have been reading reviews on here prior to purchasing the unit but after a few test drives we decided to trade in the Tucson and upgrade (and what an upgrade it is). So far we have put on about 650kms but so far so good. No issues with steering, no leaking (ran it through a few touchless car washes) and heat in the rear seems fine (my wife says its comfortable for her and our 1 year old). Knock on wood nothing to really complain about except that its missing a power lift gate!

We are IMPRESSED - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By tom m. - March 17 - 12:56 amThe exterior design is eye-catching and attractive. The insrumentation is easy to learn and easy to read. The brakes feel good. All of the doors sound solid and secure when they are closed. It handles very nicely, and easier to park than our old Tahoe. Time will tell of the reliability.

Great job by Hyundai - 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe
By MJL - March 10 - 9:56 pmJust bought or vechile last month and we love it. My father just bought a new trail blazer and they are about the same size(TB has a little more cargo room but less room in back seat). We paid 20,500 for SF GlS w/4WD and he paid $25,500 for his and does not have 4WD and only has 3/36 waranty. Plus we had more features. He looked at ours and said I should have bought that one!

Hyundai Love has been passed on to me! - 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Taryn R - March 6 - 10:50 amI got this SUV for my 18Th birthday, I drove my moms old 2003 Santa Fe when I was first starting out, than I got a Infiniti QX56, but I needed a regular SUV! When I got this SUV I love it 90% more than the infiniti, the navigation is amazing the comfort fo the seats could be better and so could the mileage. But hardly drive the QX56 anymore! Hyundai is making a huge come back!

I love my santa fe - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By ellie - March 2 - 1:26 pmMy husband and I went looking and test drove a few and with his severe back injuries could not find one that was comfortable for him, until he sat in the Santa Fe, he said this is the one. This is my first suv and I am loving it, roomy and fairly economical. We love it and I like it better than driving his 30+ thousand trans sport van.

My recent conversion - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Timsmitty - March 2 - 10:00 amSTAY AWAY from SAN LEANDRO HYUNDAI! WORST in the car business. LIED to me there wasnt a 3.5 liter because didnt have one on the lot. Found on Hyundai website it does exist. LIED to me about the 0% financing but had ad with me so hard to deny. Inept paperwork through mail, leaving half address, getting whole cities states wrong but having correct zip code? Turly did NOT care care once I left with vehicle. Left messages with people trying to help get paperwork sent to the correct address. NEVER got answer. Ill NEVER give them business again, dont deserve it. Sorry but true. Want to build loyalty? Start with those that sell you car to.
