Overview & Reviews
Honda has made a number of enhancements to the 2004 Honda S2000. Most importantly, a larger 2.2-liter engine has been fitted. This, along with revised transmission gearing, is meant to improve power delivery. Other changes include updated suspension tuning, 17-inch wheels (16s were the previous standard), upgraded brakes, larger tailpipes and restyled front and rear bumpers with new headlights and taillights. Inside, there's a new center console (with two cupholders and a storage tray) and a bit more shoulder, elbow and hiproom for the driver and passenger. All Honda cars have a new seatbelt reminder system this year.
- Agile chassis, rev-happy engine, minimalist design, optional hardtop, high level of performance for the price.
- Still not much low-end torque, no passenger airbag cut-off switch.

fun car - 2004 Honda S2000
By ssgaspass1 - April 19 - 10:00 amGreat car! A little loud inside even with the top up and windows closed. Convertible top very easy to use. Rides like a true sports car and has the power to prove it.

Just what I needed! - 2004 Honda S2000
By notoverthehillyet - March 12 - 2:00 amIn rating this vehicle, I kept the scores relative to what it is: a well built, high performance, great looking, seat of the pants sports car. No frills, just pure excitement on the right roads. If you are looking for a touring sports car to drive on Interstate highways, Id recommend a 350Z, G35 or Z4 over this car. I love it so far, and go through withdrawals on days that I dont drive it. BTW- its definitely made to be driven hard on good roads, but have a good radar detector with you.

Sleek and sexy - 2004 Honda S2000
By RogersRocket - December 11 - 2:00 amJust purchased a 2000 S2000. Vehicle has 20,500 miles on it. This car is well built and drives like a dream. Only draw back is plastic window in back and a pain putting boot over top. Stereo could be a better quality sound. Honda should have put the speakers in the side panel of door. This is a fun vehicle to drive that performs well and seems to be of good quality. Highly recommended. Worth every penny.

2004 Honda S2000 - 2004 Honda S2000
By swjskiier - September 22 - 2:00 amJust picked up one from the first shipments from Japan! The handling on this years model is very nice with the larger tires. The retuned suspension makes the car glued to the road. A great bang for the buck! Dont expect much from the stock radio though, the sound quality is terrible! The seats form nicely around you if you are of average build. Ive found that its a bit difficult to get into the car if you are tall (6 or over). Ill add more to this review (if I can) once I break in the car!

Pocket Rocket - 2004 Honda S2000
By jassfan - March 30 - 2:00 amThis has made me quickly forget my Mustang GT. I tried the 350Z, Infinity I35 Coupe and the Mazda rx-8. They just dont get it. You want a real sports car that isnt compromised, then this is the car for you.

2004 S2000 - 2004 Honda S2000
By JTW - January 4 - 2:00 amIt has been a fun vehicle to drive. The car is like all other Honda products I own, high quality and very tight. It has plenty of pep and is an eye catcher.
