Honda has made a number of enhancements to the 2004 Honda S2000. Most importantly, a larger 2.2-liter engine has been fitted. This, along with revised transmission gearing, is meant to improve power delivery. Other changes include updated suspension tuning, 17-inch wheels (16s were the previous standard), upgraded brakes, larger tailpipes and restyled front and rear bumpers with new headlights and taillights. Inside, there's a new center console (with two cupholders and a storage tray) and a bit more shoulder, elbow and hiproom for the driver and passenger. All Honda cars have a new seatbelt reminder system this year.

- Still not much low-end torque, no passenger airbag cut-off switch.

By gatorguy37 - August 3 - 2:00 amThe car has been a dream to own and drive. Its fast, tight in turns, a real pleasure to drive and surpisingly comfortable on long trips. The trunk is big enough to fit the clubs AND enough luggage for a long weekend. If you dont want to golf, then you can have enough room to bring your girlfriend AND her stuff.

One of a kind - 2004 Honda S2000
By Melissa C - July 29 - 2:00 amEver since I set eyes on my car-it took my breath away. Driving is a dream. The car is solid and heavy like a Mercedes so safe to go on road trips. Good size trunk, unique features, and you will have a fan club wherever you go. Mouths drop when you drive by...if only they knew what it was like behind the wheel:+) Best thing Ive ever done. Just make sure you wave to the rest of us when you pass by...there are only a minimal number of S2000s produced by Honda each year.

unbelievably fun - 2004 Honda S2000

I went from driving a Civic to this, so I was a little apprehensive at first about living with this car on a daily basis. After the first week, it was clear -- this car is worth every penny I paid for it. Its unbelievably fun to drive, has an amazing gearbox (almost unreal how smooth shifting it is), is rock solid, and I get so many looks from other people. Passing situations are also a breeze, if you see a hole in traffic, you can get there with this car. The engine sounds amazing also, I love to rev this baby! And best of all, its a Honda, so you know reliability wont be a problem

By PolySail - July 23 - 2:00 amMy wife decided to have herself a sports car for her birthday. One of her colleagues recommended the Honda S2000, earning my lifelong indebtedness. Within an hour of our drive to the dealership, she had her car. Weeks later, she allowed me to drive her home in it following an exhausting week at work. Wow! What fun! No wonder she chose to drive it all the time. (We have two other vehicles.) Its everything I ever wanted in a muscle car in my youth combined with the sporty cars I always coveted as a young adult. Now, at this stage of my life, Id have to say that it compares favorably to Viagra.

top down greatness - 2004 Honda S2000
By rodester driver - July 20 - 2:00 amOnly two negatives, no storage room on the interior and you need to rev the engine past 3000rpm to get any power from a stopped position otherwise this car is great to drive, lots of power once the engine rpms are up, classic road feel, smooth gearbox, very comfortable driving position in nicely contoured sport seats and great handling. Buy it in yellow so everyone can see you coming down the street.

Fun, fun, fun - 2004 Honda S2000
By mddavis - July 14 - 2:00 amI have had my S2000 for 2 years. I enjoy driving it today as much as I did when I first got it. What a driving machine! Cornering, acceleration, stabilty (even at HIGH speeds), great six speed and all at a great price. There are only a couple of negatives - not much luggage room or interior storage, not much torgue. However, overall, a great car!

One (1) fault- trunk would not hold one (1) set of golf clubs let alone two (2). And I have Japanese clubs! and bag! Mine was actually a 2000 leased for 3 great fun car years.

By Hans Pustelnik - July 7 - 2:00 amThis car is a blast to drive. I ride Ducati motorcycles and this Honda S 2000 is so far the only 4 wheeler that puts a smile on my face. I have tried other cars including the Porsche Boxter and the S 2000 got my vote!!!!
