By Emily Dowd-Arrow - June 1 - 12:10 pmI was compelled to review our Pilot after reading the Edmunds 778 mile outcomes. We have 2 small children, a teenager, and two working adults in our family. My husband, a full time student, drives the Pilot to and from class and for daycare pick up and drop off. We use the Pilot for long trips, regular visits to family 500 miles away. Our average fuel combined is MPG is 21.6 - our lifetime is 21.6. We get 28-29 on the highway. The test group for Edmunds obviously drive the car without any attempt to drive responsibly; sorry, but thats my thought. We use the Econ mode, but otherwise drive like reasonable adults with a car full of car seats, strollers, and family stuff.

I owned a 2004 prior which was a very dependable and well built car so felt confident this would be the same. Its comfortable to drive, quiet,lots of storage and hauling space, looks good and worth every dollar. Drive and compare the competition and see what I mean.

By BGood - April 26 - 3:25 pmIf you want the Elite Trim you will have to be patient and lucky. Some sales associates that need to make their numbers will push the lower trims. They may tell you there is not much difference in what you get. Do your home work and sit in one yourself. The Elite closes the gap with Acura MDX, Buick Enclave, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Lexus RX etc. You may read reviews that complain about the controls for the radio and navigation. There are some valid annoyances and you can get over them. (Volume can go crazy when switching between sources, i.e. Bluetooth to phone, Bluetooth to FM, iPod to radio.) So turn down your volume a little prior to switching sources.

Do not have the DVD package, wanted kids to actually interact with me in the car :) LOVE the Honda Road Readers - can download books onto my iPhone and then using the bluetooth, we can all listen to stories. My favorite!

By Janelle - March 15 - 9:36 pmThis is an amazing car. Exterior the rear LEDs are awesome. Front ones too. Great dynamic styling for an SUV I think. Interior the car is certainly solidly built. I love the shiny black trim. Amazing technology, and all of it works well. The only thing is the touch screen might be a little bit too sensitive, for me anyway. Drives like a BMW, or Mercedes...not kidding!!! It rides smooth, braking is amazing (may sound weird, but some brakes are better than others). Great handling as well!! As you can see, I love this car! Would not trade it for a X5 ever! Also, remember how great the safety is. The new Pilot beat the Toyota Highlander, Nissan Rogue, Ford Edge, and Mazda CX5 for safety. Buy it...you will not regret.
