  • Pseudo Sports Sedan - 2007 Honda Accord

Here is what is I see as some major flaws with this car. Turning Radius. Making tight turns or getting into a parking space is frustrating. Delay in shifting gears what the heck is this about? I have to wait 2 full seconds before the car is engaged in gear. Quickly performing a 3 point turn is not possible. Front end floats during quick accelerations at times when I want to accelerate quickly and there are bumps in the road, the front end is floating far too much! Gas mileage my wife’s RAV gets the same mileage as this sedan, not good. Overall this is a pseudo sports sedan that is overpriced. Closer to a value car with nice dressings. Good, but not great!

Having been a devoted Toyota owner for 30 years I decided in 2007 to make the move to Honda. At 5000 miles I noticed that the rear lug nuts were rusting, odd since the SE alloy rims shouldnt do that. Honda replaced them at no charge. At 16,500 when car went in for oil change and state inspection I was notified that the rear brake calipers were rusted thus causing the rear brake pads to wear which now needed to be replaced! I was told it was because I dont drive the car enough. I drive everyday to work in stop and go traffic. After no reply from the dealer or Honda of America I am trading in the rust mobile for another Toyota.

  • My 5th Honda, best car - 2007 Honda Accord

I traded in my 07 camry for this car, after I could not get used to the camry driving, accelerator dies when you slow. I am very sad honda withdrew this car from the market, car magazines stupidly compare this V 6 to the 4 cylinder hybrids. This is a very powerful car , with amazing gas consumption 36 Mpg HWY. To save money you need better gas consumption in the HWY. This where you put most of the miles. I have put 65,000 mile. 0 problems., feels like brand new. All cars are hybrids. As all cars uses a battery to start. This is not a performance car, this is an Accord with the best performance. I think Honda should bring this car back with 4 and 6 cylinder option.

  • Update to Second Honda - 2007 Honda Accord

Ok I have had my car for 3 weeks and very impressed with the fuel economy. I have filled my car twice since I got my car getting 425 miles to a tank with combined driving. Avg. 30.1 mpg. It feels nice to get over 290 mile per tank like i did on my 2001 millennia. Motor is very peppy, stick is still very slick.

This is my second Honda that I have purchased. The first a honda CRX Si drove it to 305,116 miles. The ride is smooth, and the interior much improved compared to my friends accords. The interior is quiet enough to have a civil conversation, though not as quiet as a Lexus. Pick up is effortless with the manual with a slick feel. I bought this car used with only 27,900 miles on it, and the way i see it it is barely broken in. I look forward to minimal maintenance issues, and great return on this purchase.

I have been driving in sales covering a 400+mile radius since 1996. When the company went off leases and to Runzheimer, I had to find something reliable, with good resale. This car is incredible. It just turned 3 in February. 206k miles now, 150k before needing brake pads, First tires lasted over 65k, second set almost 100k. Excellent fuel mileage. No rattles, squeaks, or seal noise. Tight. Dealership maintained and the only thing other than regular maintenance was a $35 a/c compressor relay. Would like 0 road noise, but this car is quiet enough for cell conversations with a headset. All-in-all the best car for field sales I have found. Dealership (Meyer Honda) is also first- rate.

  • By far the best car i ever owned - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

Car has 70,000 miles and has operated perfectly with only regular scheduled maintenance. I have driven for forty years and never, never owned a car like this. Car gets 31 on interstate and 20 driving in NYC. Replacement tires after 65,000 miles and brakes at 60,000 miles. Four cylinder engine is quick for maneuvering through new york city traffic.

  • Best Honda Ever! - 2007 Honda Accord

This is truly a excellent car to own and drive! Loads of features, roomy, excellent pick-up for a four cylinder, and a smooth engine.

  • Utility vehicle after all - 2007 Honda Accord

I bought this car brand new. My experience with this vehicle has been as follows - the engine & transmission provide a smooth, powerful and reliable ride. The suspension is awful though - you can feel even the slightest imperfections on the road. The build quality and sound insulation is pathetic - too much road- noise and constant rattling and squeaking from the doors and windows is annoying

  • The Case For A Hybrid - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

Used car prices have fallen for the Accord Hybrid/HCH making it value priced for the level of refinement. March of 2010 I bought a lease returned NAVI equipped 07 with 2,860 certified accident free miles. It has the best ride due to 16 inch tires and 200 lb increase weight. The battery pack serves as a sound baffle between the trunk and back seat. The electric steering feels more refined and with the smaller tires gives a turning circle of 36 feet for improved maneuverability. Drivability with the V6 is refined yet I get better than 4 cyl FE. I average 34 mpg driving 80% on city freeways filling up with 91RON non ethanol gas.
