Overview & Reviews
As the model was fully redesigned for the 2003 model year, there are only a few changes on the 2004 Honda Accord. Availability of side curtain airbags has been expanded this year to four-cylinder EX models -- standard on those with leather, optional on cars with a cloth interior. All four- and six-cylinder EX models equipped with a leather interior now have XM Satellite Radio with three months of free service as standard equipment. And as with all Honda cars this year, a new seatbelt reminder system is standard. Accord models meeting California's stringent Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV) standards -- all four-cylinder sedans equipped with automatic transmission -- will also be sold in the states of New York, Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts.
- Tight build quality, quiet cabin, refined and powerful engines, reputation for quality and durability, high crash test scores.

This ones out of the park - 2004 Honda Accord
By Happy Priest - September 30 - 10:00 amHonda hits another home run with the Accord EXL 4Cyl. I have had a 95 Acura Integra GSR and an 00 Accord EXL V6. The 04 Accord combines the best features of each the previous two. The Engine has the quiet, smoothness and power of the GSR. The interior is more luxurious much more quiet than my old Accord. The 5sp Manual is perfection. Safety and comfort Improvements make this car vastly superior to Toyota, VWs or Nissan. All this for the same price as 95 Integra.

BMW Performance without BMW price - 2004 Honda Accord
By I Love Cars - September 30 - 10:00 amI have owned two 1997 and one 2001 BMW vehicles. I will tell you that the Honda Accord that I have is right next to the performance as my 330ci BMW. The quite engine roars when you feed it a little gas and its amazing that you can get such quality for such a fair value. Worth Every Penny...

A great car! - 2004 Honda Accord
By Jules08 - September 30 - 10:00 amMy Accord EX has been a really great car! Excellent handling, style and very reliable! The only negative is the rotten egg smell of the cars emissions. This smell is also evident on my mothers LX, as well. Compared to other cars at the same price point, the Accord cant be beat!

Another Winner - 2004 Honda Accord
By Lil_Debbie - September 30 - 10:00 amHondas redesign of the interior and exterior makes for more backseat head room and an appealing, sleek look from the outside. My previous car was an 01 Accord.

Get the V6! - 2004 Honda Accord
By Holli - September 30 - 10:00 amThe redesign of the Accord is fantastic. The V6 is worth the additional cost for those who frequently use an expressway.

Awesome Car!! - 2004 Honda Accord
By Willy47 - September 12 - 9:58 amA quick note about this car, we traded it to my wifes mom, it has a power drivers seat and gives her enough of a boost to see over the steering wheel. I must say that this car is the only car that I have ever driven that the acceleration actually scared me. We have an 07 accord V6 that is supposed to be identical, the 04 will eat it for lunch. This car is one of the smartest purchases I have ever made. It is ironic that this "little old lady" has this sleeper.

So Far Not a Glich - 2004 Honda Accord
By Dave - September 9 - 7:03 pmStill only at 80k but with the exception of usual oil changes and a brake pad replacement, maintenance has been zero. Reliability exceeds all previous vehicles Ive owned and performance far exceeds the other vehicle Ive owned in the mid-size sedan category which was a VW Passat. Fuel economy is excellent, usually am driving highway and will average 35 on summer tires and 32 on my snows. I live in Vermont where snow is an issue and with the addition of decent snow tires, its handling remains crisp and perfectly in tune with my driving. Looking to drive this car at least another 5 years.
