Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Yep you guessed it - 2002 Honda Accord

Bad Transmission. I was luckier than most. I made it to 150,000 before the dreaded check engine light came on. Other than the transmission and possum in my air intake, the car has been a great commuter. Where is the recall on this, Honda?

  • My best car ever - 1994 Honda Accord
    By -

I have 210,000 miles. Bought new and has given great service. Paint still good. Replaced radiator, transmission. Changed oil every 5000 miles. Still has original suspension. Air works great. Interior like new. Engine sounds and runs great. Good on tire mileage. I look forward to driving it till it quits.

  • Worst decision i ever made - 1998 Honda Accord

i bought this car 1 week later the engine went out, the hood broke, the ignition switch went out, the distributor went, and the crank sensors, worst brakes ever, and lets not even begin with the transmission i highly advise anyone to not get this car

  • Please change the seats - 2011 Honda Accord
    By -

I purchased a Honda 2011 LE last month. Before purchasing, test drove it for 10-15 mins. Well, 2 things that bothers me. 1. The drivers seat is horrible and not at all comfortable. There is hardly any cushion on the seats and the seats are very hard. My back pains if I go on a long drive ( more than 2 hrs). This could have been my deal breaker if I had experienced this earlier. 2. Road Noise : Hondas are usually noisy and this one is no different.

  • 2 1/2 year review - 2008 Honda Accord

My 2nd Accord, but probably my last. Fuel economy better than I expected city 24 mpg and hwy 34 mpg. But the overall build quality of the car appears inferior to my previous 1998 Accord EXL (especially paint and leather). Currently have 60,000 miles on it. Also noticing rear brake issue and flickering headlights while a/c on. Despite having 10 speakers, still not the best sounding system. I dont think the car will last as long as my previous accord did and is still doing!

  • Misleading - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

This car is awesome. Comfortable, good-looking, fast and smooth. Great all around and it still beats so many newer cars. However it is deceiving because this 2003 Accord is notorious for transmission failures and I was just one of several thousands to just find out. Do your research and youll be shocked at the mess that is still happening. Honda has known about these awful transmissions since the cars inception. So buyer beware if youre thinking of buying one now. It will cost you half if not more of its value today in 2010 to get this manufacturer failure fixed by you. Honda American wont help although the car has much value left.

  • Solid Car - 2001 Honda Accord

Bought this car new 9 years ago. Now have 126M miles. It replaced a 1992 Accord my wife wrecked. The 1992 was a little smaller and more fun to drive. They keep making these Accords bigger and bigger. Honda replaced my transmission for free a few years back. Even gave me a rental for the day, so no sweat off my back. Great reliability, great interior design. Exterior is a little bland, especially compared to the new Accords. Driver seat hurts my old back after an hour or so. No rattles, no rust , no repairs except for normal maintenance. Mileage could be better, especially around town. Hope to drive it another 5 years until I can afford a new one!

  • Love it! - 2003 Honda Accord

I bought my Accord used with 12,000 miles on it. Now 6 years later it has 253k on it. I have NOT had a problem out of it at all. It has been a great car. Even with the high miles on it i am still averaging 33 MPG. No leaks whatsoever and still rides amazing. I plan on driving this car until it finally quits. I have put 240k miles on it and I believe i can run it for another 250k. The only problem is the paint. It has faded in a select few spots but i cant complain

  • Norm Reeves Honda and me... - 2010 Honda Accord

Where to start? I am Honda Fan through and through. In 2008 I purchased my first Accord. It was a V6, EX, Sunroof, Clothe interior, and pearl white. From day one this car has been FUN to drive. It handles great, smooth acceleration, and looks amazing with a great set of wheels. Now 2 years later I wanted to treat myself to an upgrade. This time around I got every bell and whistle available. I just purchased a 2010 Accord, 4 doors, EX-L(L = LEATHER!), Navigation, Bluetooth, upgraded sound system, and in pearl Black. NICE! I only have two words to say about my experience with the 2010 Accord: EXTREMELY HAPPY.

  • Great all-around car, except fuel - 2010 Honda Accord
    By -

I am leasing this vehicle for $269/mo. For less than $10/day, this car is amazing. Its comfortable, has all the creature comforts anyone needs and looks great, too! I wish it had some more power and less active ABS - but for the price of this car, there really are no major complaints! Negative things to note: Fuel consumption is surprisingly high! Also, dont forget that insurance on an Accord is not cheap, the brakes on this vehicle go out fairly quickly too!
