Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

My beautiful new accord - 2004 Honda Accord
By tx1yankee - January 4 - 2:00 amI have owned many Hondas, Most recently a 2003 Civic which I traded in on my 04 accord. I love the way my car handles. It is smooth and shifts seamlessly. The noise level has been drastically reduced froimprevious models.

Great car, definitely best in its class - 2004 Honda Accord
By Keef98 - January 4 - 2:00 amWe have owned this car for 3 months and love it. It looks and runs great. We considered several other cars: the Taurus, Malibu, Camry, and Maxima. The Taurus and Malibu were ugly and didnt have the features of the Accord. The Camry looked better than the Ford and the Chevy, but was still pretty plain. Plus, to get the features that the Honda had would have cost a a couple of grand more. The Maxima is a great looking and driving car. But it is significantly more money than the Accord, and the Accord only gives up about 20 HP to the Maxima and is almost as fun to drive. Overall, there is not a car that is a better value than the Honda Accord.

The Best Accord Ever! - 2004 Honda Accord
By Andrew Q. - January 4 - 2:00 amThe newly redesigned 7th Generation Honda Accord V6 is the best Accord ever! Honda has loaded this car with every creature comforts that you will only find available on high-end Japanese & Euro Coupes/Sedans for less than $27,000! The refined SOHC VTEC V6 engine combined with the silky smooth 5spd Automatic transmission and loaded features is at the top of its class! I miss the 4th (92-96) & 5th (97- 01) Generation Honda Prelude but the new Accord V6 Coupe has a hint of the Preludes persona. In my own opinion theres nothing "family" about the Accord V6 Coupe... just dont tell that to the insurance companies.

Great Value!!! - 2005 Honda Accord
By Honda Accord - January 3 - 12:16 pmGreat handling, 30 mpg highway, 25 in town. I love the ride and all the goodies included with the car. Dealer service has been great. For what I consider a compromise semi-economy car, this was a good buy. A very good all around sedan. It gives you a sporty feel in a family sedan. Very pleased with this purchase.

Very cool car! - 2007 Honda Accord
By Mark Johnson - January 2 - 5:26 amThis is a great car! Fun to drive. The Navigation is really cool. Easy. I will never buy another car without it. Definitely worth the extra money. My wife loves the heated seats. XM radio is great. Leather seats. Sound system is super. V6 power is peppy and a nice change from my 2001 Honda Civics power. No complaints at all.

Best 20 Year Old Car - 1996 Honda Accord
By Joshua - January 1 - 4:46 amMy dad bought this car in 2001 it was 5 years old and had about 60k miles on it. It now has 267,000 miles on it and still running! Dad took very good care of it and its repaid us for it. We did all changes, updates, etc. as needed and its still the original engine and transmission. A true testament to the build quality of the mid 90s Accords and if you maintain the car well it can really last. My wife and I bought it from my dad for my wife two years ago and love it! Im hoping to hit at least 300k with it.
