Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Accord Wagons Rule! - 1997 Honda Accord
By rhodieboy - January 21 - 2:00 amI have loved this car since the day I drove it off the lot! Its stylish, sporty and best of all, its a station wagon. My two dogs fit great in the back. Honda makes a great car. Spirited performance, tight suspension, rock solid reliability. With close to 90k miles now my "eucalyptus green pearl" LX 5 speed is great! No major problems other than a d/s window actuator and the airbag sensor both of which were covered under warranty... I am up to change the timing belt which might be $$$$! The cheapest Honda dealer wins!

Honda - 2002 Honda Accord
By Kenny - January 20 - 2:33 pmBought the car used at 40k miles; been driving it for 4 months. Gas mileage is a little shy of what I was hoping for... getting 24 mpg average; however, it suits my 2 car seat life style nicely. Immediately upgraded the cloth interior w/Classic Soft Trim leather and the car looks brand new. As I read the other reviews, several things stand out as true; wind noise above average, low beams are low at night, rattles and bumpy ride is evident on less than average roads, and the cruise control works to hard...after hitting resume hang on, because the respones is equivalent to you mashing the pedal to the floor. Overall, sexy family hauler w/$3k in upgrades; leather interior, tires/rims, etc.

Accord - 2007 Honda Accord
By Patrick - January 19 - 10:26 pmThis is my first Honda and I have had it a little over a month. It has plenty of pep for a 4-cylinder, doesnt lag too much when accelerating I am looking forward to years of trouble free maintenance and reliability, both major factors in deciding to purchase the Accord. Estimated mileage is OK, currently I do 60% city 40% highway and I average 24- 25 MPG. I know the car has to be broke in, so hopefully I will see closer to 30 in the coming months.

Cant wait to trade it in! - 2008 Honda Accord
By Scott - January 17 - 10:00 pmThis is my 4th Accord and 6th Honda. I was excited when the new body style came out the interior space was a welcome improvement. I have been so disappointed in this car, I dont know where to start. I had to replace the rear brakes at 20K miles. I called Honda to complain, but they did nothing but send me a customer survey. The interior noise is almost unbearable unless you are driving on new blacktop. The 4-cyl is ok at highway speeds, but if you need to accelerate quickly from low speeds or a stop, forget it. Just hope the other guy has good brakes!

Ugly car! - 2008 Honda Accord
By Mark - January 17 - 12:50 amThis car looks ugly in person. It looks better on magazine. The headlights and trunk is ugly design. Had this car for 2 months and sold it. Took two hours trip to the mountain. This car has two problems. Has horrible road noise coming into the car and headlights is NOT bright enough. I dont recommend this car for the price. Nissan Altima is better car.

Solid ride for a travelling salesman - 1998 Honda Accord
By hoktaskbasdh - January 16 - 10:00 amFantastic car. I bought used 45,000 miles on it. I crank the car 4-5 times a day and really beat on it. 2 years after purchase, the car now has 105,000 miles on it and overall I dont know of any other car maker that can match its long term durability (other than toyota) 86,000 miles had a EGR clog that there was a recall on but the dealer lied to me and never told me about it/tried to make me pay.I had to fight them on it to get them to cover it under the warranty. Hondas rule! Will keep car to 150K and then sell to a family member!

By far the best Honda and a great value! - 2003 Honda Accord
By Jase - January 16 - 10:00 amBought this car for my wife in Dec 02, and we have been very impressed with it. Weve racked up 12,000 trouble-free miles on it so far. It is a great highway cruiser, impressively quiet (except on coarse pavement), gets excellent gas mileage (got 37 mpg going 80 mph with A/C on). It rides typically Honda-firm, which is not to say that its uncomfortable - it is quite comfortable and smooth and does its best to smooth out the nastiest secondary roads. A nice solid "thunk" when you close the doors. This car feels much more expensive than the $19,990 that I paid.

Yep, - 2003 Honda Accord
By tec243 - January 16 - 10:00 amI wanted to replace my 89 Prelude 4WS. Looked at the GTI/CL/RSX/G35/Cougar. Knew the new Accord would have 6speed/nav./voice system. Waited and waited... then a fully loaded blk/blk arrived. Its not a sports car but is very quick. 6speed is a smooth, short throw. Leans a little on hard turns and the seat doesnt hold me in like the G35 but its nearly 10k more. The voice system and touch screen is awesome !! Works with anyones voice. Excellent build quality/ergonomics. Feels solid and firm. Light beams down on the shifter. Plenty of room in the back. Nice line and good paint.

Great Car!! - 2003 Honda Accord
By Fourputt - January 16 - 10:00 amSaphire Blue Pearl 2003 Accord LX V6 I have been putting this car through its paces by driving some very twisty mountain roads here in Colorado, and it has performed flawlessly. Power to spare, great handling, and I love the looks I get. This is a real winner!
