Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

The ride is great, quiet and smooth. My 3rd Honda in a row with NO mfgrs defects at all - great quality control. The service dept is quick, reasonable and reliable, about 1/2 the cost of a Nissan for any given task/service. This was my main reason for switching, after 25yrs driving Z-cars. The interior is immaculate, and looks like a much more expensive car - well keep this one for quite a while. Braking (ABS) is great and the car inspires confidence when driving. Gets the advertised mpg, both on the road and in town.

What a nice car. Fun to drive, lots of power, smooth and a great interior. Havent noticed any problem with the vcm as reported by some. Initial gas mileage looks good too. I do find the lumbar on the drivers seat a bit uncomfortable though. Not sure if I will get used to it in time, hope so. So far a great car, looking forward to many years of Honda reliability.

  • The most comfortable car I have owned. - 1996 Honda Accord

The car has a very sophisticated feel to it when you drive it. The leather seats and 6-way power seat are really a nice addition. It has the feel of a sports car, yet is quiet and extremely economical. When I take road trips I dont want to get out of my car because it makes me so relaxed to drive it.

Loved the look of the car and the way it handled. Responsive steering and plenty of power in the V-6. On the negative side, I think the two screens is distracting while driving and the seats were quite uncomfortable for both me and my son, especially the hard lumbar support. Too bad there wasnt an option to upgrade the seats to ones that were more plush. The front seats in the Honda CR-V were better.

  • Good Car - 2004 Honda Accord

I owned 1993 Honda Accord LX. Due to natural disaster, my old car got flooded and I decide to get the new one. Basically 2004 Accord EX-V6 has lots of power that you can hunt down other cars like Camry V6, Mazda 6s or it can match with Nissan Altima V6 and even Audi A4 3.0. Very ergonomic and nice design. But there are some cheap plastic. Also I drive 75% local & 25% hwy and get only 17.5 miles / gallon. I am not a crazy driver but still have this kind of number on mileage. Slightly disappointed.

We love our Accord coupe ("Heidi")!! The 2001 body style is sporty, yet elegant (especially in silver). Her V6 accelerates supremely when passing. She has a sliding/tilting sun roof that is great, as is the trunk room - very spacious for a car this size. The rear seating is tight for 3 older teenagers (triplets), but that didnt stop us from taking it on vacations and trips to see family out of state. When it comes down to it, what we like the most about Heidi is the sheer feeling of free-spiritedness that she gives us. At slightly over 100,000 miles, she still drives like a dream.

This is a great car! the car have exceptional power for a v4. Ive owned this car for 6 months already and everything has going great exept for a few minor fix up which would be great. It seem like the car is slow on the starting and the stereo need a little bit more power. Better gas milage in city would also be great too. The car doesnt perform well on city milage like the way how it well the hwy milage. The brake system was a little bit touchy at first but once you get the hang of it, you love the response. I have to say after test driving the altima, camry, passat I think this car has the best value for the car. great interior and exterior.

Sprung for an LX 4cyl auto today. Drove everything in the segment - just a fine car and am enjoying the hell out of my decision. Great stuff. BTW, anyone in Denver looking for the best dealership around, hit Ralph Schomp in Littleton. No BS, even gave $700 over book for the trade. Will have the car for years, and know Ill be happy with it.

  • when Honda made cars to last forever - 1996 Honda Accord

the motor with maintance can go forever, nothing ever goes wrong because it dont have all the electronics of todays cars, if they still made these they would be broke, nobody would need to replace.
