Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Great car with great price - 2004 Honda Accord
By Rodcleve - March 13 - 10:00 amI was looking for a car to replace a Nissan truck because I needed more space. I purchased the Accord over the Altima due to price. The dealer included free A/C, tinted windows, and alarm with electric door. Took it out of town and the ride was wonderful. In town it handles well and gets good gas mileage. The back seat is very large and aldults can sit without the front passengers moving seat up. Great buy at a great price.

2012 Honda Accord EX-L-dissapointed - 2012 Honda Accord
By taylor ford - March 11 - 3:02 pmThis was my first car, I recently traded it in for a BMW X1 and couldnt be happier. While I am not someone who can tell you car specifics, I can say the overall safety and appeal of the car is not good. I am 54" and could not see out at all. Whether it was changing lanes, backing up or even seeing in front of me. I only test drove this car once and in the moment, I didnt notice it too bad because I didnt have a lot of previous experience to base off of. However, over the two years I owned this car I only put 20k miles on it because I felt so unsafe driving. I tried everything to be able to see out better; moving mirrors, changing the seat up and down, nothing worked! Also, this car was extremely loud on the road and the longer I owned it the louder it got. The interior of the car seemed very busy and cheap to me. The whole interior was really a bummer for me, it looked cheap, was hard to clean and the leather seemed very low quality. With all of the negatives being said, I will say the car never gave me any engine problems and did seem fairly reliable. The car served its purpose as a first car but I will never recommend this car to anyone for safety and overall appeal, I am much happier with my BMW!

From Corvette to Accord? No way... - 2003 Honda Accord
By hbsgary - March 4 - 10:00 amMy wife decided that she had the Vette for long enough. She wanted a four door sedan...again! We looked at the 2003 Lexus ES300, the 2000 Mercedes E320, and the 2003 Honda Accord. The Honda came into play because we have owned four of them. We drove the Lexus. It was very nice. Was it worth $35K? Nope! The Mercedes was very nice as well. I located a used 2000 model and had secured a price of $27K. A great deal. And then we looked at the 2003 Honda. We got it totally loaded except the Navigation system for under invoice. A fantastic vehicle with good power under the hood and lots of comfort in the interior. We love this car!

Not What I Thought it Should Be - 2001 Honda Accord
By YngGftdnBlk - March 4 - 10:00 amI bought my 2001EX Coupe 4-cyl. after my 2000 Nissan Altima was stolen. I must admit that I would definitely prefer my Altima over this car. I bought this car for resale and resale only. Dont get me wrong, I was in love with the car when I bought it; however, after driving the car 6K miles and having one accident in the vehicle, I was suprised at how cheaply they put the car together. The car had alot of plastic and styrofoam with no real steal to support the car with. I have had the car since Feb 2003 and will be trading it in by Sept 2003.

Nice car with lots of road noise - 2008 Honda Accord
By sandy - March 2 - 7:20 amI went from a 2007 Tahoe to a Honda Accord. I sure miss my Tahoe. It wasnt worth saving the little difference in gas mileage for this Honda. My Tahoe averaged 14 mpg. So far this Honda has gotten between 16.8 to 21 mpg. Seats are not very comfortable and not happy with the heated seats. They do not stay warm for long. Must say it is a great looking car, and fun to drive but not worth the little amount of gas I am saving. It has a lot of road noise, makes my eardrums vibrate.

This is a awesome commuting car!!! - 2005 Honda Accord
By Point A to B, Great! - February 29 - 5:43 pmThis is a awesome commute car, The gas mileage is really good even though its a mid-size sedan. I was torn between the civic and the accord, but the miles per gallon isnt that much different. For few bucks more you can get a bigger, more powerful and just as economical car, the accord. I would recommend %100!!!

comfort and reliability - 2001 Honda Accord
By Tricia - February 28 - 10:00 amI use my car for outside sales and spend roughly 5 hrs a day driving. My car offers me comfort and reliability. I like the fact that the blind spots are minimal it gives me a wide view of the road and everything around me. I enjoy the huge trunk, great for shopping and hauling things you wouldnt normally be able to fit in a trunk. I test drove several other makes comparable to the Accord and none of them could compare. The Accord has a tighter suspension and lets the driver feel in control.
