Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

A Winner! - 2010 Honda Accord
By Pat - November 28 - 2:00 amWe just sod a Nissan Maxima and went new with 10 Accord LX. Getting used to the 177 HP vs the Maxima but not regretting with 34 mpg highway. Other reviews are correct, the seats are not comfy at first but they are not a deal breaker. Overall, a great car with great fuel economy..and the fuel savings really adds up vs big V6s. This is our third Honda. Went away for several years and thought we would try Accord. Not disappointed!

2004 Accord - 2004 Honda Accord
By John - November 28 - 2:00 amI bought this new and used it as my over-the-road salesman car for three years, and have had it for 4 years since I retired in 2006. Ive mostly driven Chevies & Volvos over the past 50 years and this is by far the most dependable and trouble-free car Ive ever owned. I have 144,000 miles on it and the only repairs Ive done outside of routine maintenance has been to replace the rear struts and fix a valve on the a heater hose. The brakes have never been touched! I will pass this along to one of my kids some day. I drove it from Maine to Minn and back and averaged 37 mpg.

I just cant believe! - 1996 Honda Accord
By drewish - November 28 - 2:00 amWell, I purchased this car a month ago after selling my truck (couldnt afford the gas) and have been pleasantly surprised. I bought it for 1200 dollars with 150k on the clock. I was hoping for the four door, but ended up with the coup. With a four year old in the car I was amazed by the roominess of the interior. Power Windows are a problem but parts, including aftermarket performance parts, are incredibly inexpensive. Watch the speedometer gauge as they are electronic and tend to break. Overall this car is excellent.

Good, but could have been better. - 2011 Honda Accord
By Michael - November 26 - 2:00 amStill too loud. Hate the engineered in road noise just to be louder than an Acura. Quality is very good, beautiful interior. Stereo is great. Seriously though, for $32K it should have a 6-speed auto by now and proximity key/ push-button start like its competitors. Still a huge upgrade from my 2000 Accord though. My wife is very happy I got another Accord though the Sonata 2.0t was a serious contender.

Accord EX-L 4-Cyl. 4-Door - 1998 Honda Accord
By Accord Owner - November 26 - 2:00 amBought this car last Friday because my last Accord had been wrecked and totaled out by the insurance. And so far I absolutely love this car! It is way more nice than my car and it has every option possible! Upgraded sound, leather, auto trans., spoiler, chrome wheels, etc. And is amazing. Has been very well taken care of and I would recommend this car to everyone!

Rebuilt Transmission at 93K - 2000 Honda Accord
By Kelly - November 23 - 2:00 amLike so many others on this website, last month, I had to rebuild the transmission with only 93K to the tune of $1800. The CPU is also a little fluky. When the trans went, it sent a code that I needed a new Oxygen Sensor ($400 to replace). After a little research, this code is a common problem with the Y2K Accords CPU ($800 to fix). Rebuilt the tran and the code went away. Im so glad I didnt replace that part. I hope it lasts me another 3 years without any more major repairs, but Im not counting on it. Pity Hondas are supposed to be SO reliable.

Besides brakes and paint I love it - 2007 Honda Accord
By Anthony - November 23 - 2:00 amThe clear coat is starting to peel off on the drivers side. I had to have new rear brake pads and rotors put on at 41000 miles. The dealer said that is not uncommon? Seems like poor material quality to me. I do very little braking during my commute to work.

Bad Honda - 2010 Honda Accord
By Doug - November 22 - 2:00 amI recently traded in my 08 Ford Fusion for the 2010 Accord Sedan EX. I miss my Fusion. There is too much road noise on the 4 cyl version. the 190 hp doesnt kick in until about 6000 rpm? my Fusion was faster and more fun to drive. I gave up trunk space for the Honda name. Gas mileage is about the same as I was getting with the small v6 on the Fusion. There are a lot of bells and whistles that the Fusion had that the Accord doesnt, that you would think would be standard on a higher level car. I have also owned a 2004 Honda Accord. I preferred that one better than this one. the 160 hp was better than my 190? The best thing about this car is that its a Honda and I only have it for 3 yrs.

Excellent Car - 2010 Honda Accord
By BluePearl - November 20 - 2:00 amI bought this car in Aug 2010. I chose Honda because of my experience with a previous 1999 Honda Accord that I still have and still drives like a dream with very little maintenance. The 2010 Accord is also a great car. I love the VCM feature and unlike what other people said, I found it to be super smooth and I do not feel any issue with it. I love the extra power that the 6 cylinder provides and really love speeding up and merging into traffic. After driving this 6 cylinder, I am never going back to 4 cylinders. I am getting very close to 20 mpg in city driving and get as high as 29 to 20 mpg in highway driving. The level of noise inside the cabin is nothing compared to what I expected.
