Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Happy With Honda - 2004 Honda Accord
By HappywHonda - April 30 - 10:00 amI love this car! Purchased in February 04. Got a great deal and great car. Ride is quiet, smooth, and there is no need for a 6 cyl. It has plenty of pickup. No problems at all so far which is more than I can say about the Volvo S40 I had prior to his. I think it is the best car for the money.

Best Car I Have Owned Thus Far - 2004 Honda Accord
By Tamera - April 30 - 10:00 amThere is so much to say about this car. I looked at this car and the toyota solara. This car bet it buy 200 miles. More horsepower, comfort, etc. It may cost 2-3 thousand more but it is well worth it. I paid $24,182 with the ex sports pacage included(Rear wing spoiler, auto day/night rear mirror, fog lights). Its black all around a boy is is it sweet. I have read many review and did my homework and you will be happy with your choice. My parents own a BMW and this comes close to the quality of one of those, but $25,000 less!!! Buy it, youll love it. Everyone tells me what a nice car i have. Someone though it was a Mercades coupe!!!!

Great car other than the EGR Valve - 2000 Honda Accord
By Chris Davis ky - April 30 - 10:00 amThe only problem I have had is the engine light came on around 49k miles because the EGR valve was stopped up with the winter additives thay put in the gas to keep it from freezing in the winter months. The EGR valve was replaced under Warrenty Free of Charge.

Awesome ride - 2008 Honda Accord
By Louis - April 29 - 5:06 pmAwesome car, couldnt be happier with my purchase. Gets great gas mileage, I mostly drive city and I am currently receiving 25.5 mpg. Have the car a short time and have received many complements. Would buy this car over and over again!

Oil burner - 2008 Honda Accord
By Ed K - April 28 - 9:36 pmHonda quality is not what they advertise it to be. They maybe at one time produced high quality engines but not anymore. My 2008 Accord EX-L V6 burns and consumes one quart of oil per 1000 mile. Their technical experts state that is normal. I definitely donÂ’t recommend this car.

Honda Excels Again - Thrilled - 2004 Honda Accord
By Elmer Maki - April 27 - 5:16 pmThis is my fifth Honda, and I am absolutely immpressed with Hondas latest engineering in performance and ergonomics. Points in Fact: - Consistent 43.5 mpg on a road trip at 73 mph. - Absolutely handles like a dart through horizontal rain. - Excellent Sound System. XM Radio is a welcome plus. Wonderful! - I can stay in the saddle for hours. - Passenger comfort front and back. - The 4 cyl engine with 5-speed transmission avoids mischief and can certainly get out of a tight spot in a hurry. - Good visability around. I can drive this car knowing almost intuitively everything about my driving environment. I short, I wont be trading this horse anytime soon!

Greatcare - 2008 Honda Accord
By Greatcare - April 27 - 4:43 pmfollow up to earlier posting. Have the car 20 days now. About 350 miles mainly stop and go driving to and from work Put gas in the other day for the first time and averaged about 21.7 MPG not bad for breaking the car in and for the first 318 miles on the car. I expect it will go up. Otherwise love the car.

A BMW 750 in a Honda - 1999 Honda Accord
By datechboss101 - April 26 - 11:10 pmThis is the best car I have ever owned and driven. My dad purchased this car new in March of 1999 and still runs like we bought it new from the dealership. I happened to grow alongside by this car, and which it has been there for me. Now I am learning how to drive, this car has literally saved my life from stupid mistakes that beginning drivers make. While it has 150 horses paired to a 4-speed, this car is one heck of a car to drive-- fun, attractive, etc. I have no issues and no problems with this car other than regular maintenance. I would totally recommend this car to anyone that wants a stylish car and a car the literally wants to live every single day.
