Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Trouble with Hondas bumpers - 2005 Honda Accord

My husband and I bought a Honda Accord Hybrid at the end of July . We had a pleasant experience with the dealer, althought he was the fifth dealer we had gone to in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The first problem I noticed about the car was the motor shield was hanging loose from under the car. We had to have that replaced at our expense. The next problem we had was the front bumper was cracked and we are having that replaced at our expense. We have babied this car and the car stays in the garage. The car has never been in a wreck. The Honda body shops seem to be aware of this problem. The Honda Corporation has been extremely rude and and unhelpful. This is a major flaw.

  • Vibration at highway speed - 2010 Honda Accord

I drove an Accord that was on lot before I bought. I didnt drive the actual car that I purchased until after I had paid for it as it had to be driven from another dealership. Big mistake! This car vibrates at highway speeds and after the dealership worked on it 3 times for a total of 27 days, it is not fixed. I was told that there was nothing else they could do for it and it was out of their hands. Talked to a Honda rep in California and was told it is not their policy to replace a car or to return your money. If you are considering Honda, be aware of their policy .

  • Bad city mileage - 2007 Honda Accord

I bought my Honda Accord a month ago. I am not very happy with the acceleration I get. I believe the VTEC engine takes time to respond especially at the lower gears. I drove my car for the first month only in city (several lights& traffic) and got very bad mileage of 18-19 compared to the advertised 24 mpg. Have been driving without hard braking and use of much air conditioning or heat. I was expecting atleast 21-22. Very disappointed! Not sure if I was handed the last bad piece they had.

  • My first Honda - 2008 Honda Accord

Well I bit the bullet and traded my Chevy Tahoe. I thought I was going to cry, I loved that truck!! Until I bought my Honda Accord Coupe, I thought that I would feel claustrophobic after driving a huge SUV for almost 5 years but I didnt, it totally surprised me. Ive had it 3 months and absolutely love it. The only complaint is I get 27 mpg, Id rather have much more but I dont drive far and its almost double of what my Tahoe was. It feels and drives like a luxury auto twice the price, the handling and space for all my gadget is superb!

  • Best car I have ever owned - 2003 Honda Accord

I purchased my car almost a week ago and have already put about 400 miles on it. I cant say say enough about it. I love the car, it drives so good and is soooo much fun to drive. great pick up for passing and still very fuel efficent. these are great cars for ppl who drive alot or just like to have the sporty and classy look of a great car.

  • Best in Class - 2008 Honda Accord

Features, quality, reliability, and performance, at a price no other car maker can touch. That is why so many people keep buying Hondas, and the 2008 Accord continues that tradition. This is a very good car.

  • Fantastic Value! - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

The value of this vehicle is great. To pay under $30,000 and get a vehicle that looks and feels like a $50,000 is right up my alley. The redesign pushed this car up a level as far as Im concerned. I had a 2005 Accord EX and loved it but my new 2008 Accord EXL blows that car our of the water. It feels safe, performs well, looks fantastic and gets decent gas mileage for its size. I would absolutely recommend this car to anyone looking for an upscale sedan but cant afford to spend $40,000 - $50,000.

  • Excellent vehicle to own - 2005 Honda Accord

I did extensive research on various vehicles and decided to buy a Honda LX V-6 four door sedan. I am impressed with its V-6 performance and gas mileage. I average about 28 MPG city/hwy driving. The instrumentation is top notch and user friendly. The 6 disk in dash CD player is very easy to use and the sound quality is excellent. This is my first Honda acquisition and Im going to enjoy this car for many years to come.

  • Almost 20 years of complete satisfaction - 1997 Honda Accord

This car was so reliable until about year 15, when original parts needed replacement regularly. Unfortunately, exhaust seems to have the shortest life on Hondas, but replaced it around year 10 or 11 and nothing since.
