Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Awfull Sound System - 2016 Honda Accord

Complained about the sound system sounding like a hand held radio with no depth to it. Lousy Sub woofer. I was informed by Honda that to hear the sub woofer I have to turn down the bass and vice versa. Even then the sub woofer is not that great. The software needs to be updated by a sound engineer. Even an employee at the dealer after I made the purchase said the sound system was so so. You can make it sound better by Bluetooth and playing through an equalizer. My 2006 Accord sound system was 10 times better. Honda told me that there is no way to help. I have to live with it. Update: Rear speaker sounds as if there is a piece of Styrofoam inside it . Buzzing. Road noise is becoming increasing louder as I drive. Wind noise from front doors. Car seems to be made very cheaply. Rattles and noises. Making me regret trading in my other Accord. Update April 2016: Had Honda repair noise in rear speaker grill area. Still noisy but not as bad. Wiper Blades makes excessive noise during rain and sounds as though it is hitting the left side top of windshield corner. Technician says they all make that squishing/banging noise and nothing they can do about it. Only does it while in heavy rain. Also found out when I enter my email address using wifi or tethering it will consistently change what I enter. I have tried different gmail addresses and the system will alter what I input so I am unable to login.. Checks for test drive: Sound system depth and feel Wiper Blade noise in Heavy rain Road Noise at higher speeds/wind noise

  • Mostly Accolades for the Accord Coupe - 2004 Honda Accord

Overall this is a fabulous car. I am very pleased with it and would lease one again. Visibility is an issue with this vehicle. The frame to the left and right of the front windshield is rather wide & it impairs visibility especially when converging upon 4-way stops with cars approaching to left or right at the same speed. They can totally be hidden from view as can pedestrians. Over the shoulder visibility is also somewhat limited and extra time is needed to double- check blind spots.

  • I love my new car! - 1999 Honda Accord

I have owned my car (that I purchased from my father, its original owner)for two weeks. I was lucky in that it was in great condition with only 26400 miles! I love how it handles the road and makes driving fun.

  • Excellent Car - 2003 Honda Accord

I test drove the Mazda 6 and Acura TSX. I ruled out the TSX because there it sells at sticker making the purchase price $6000 more, just not worth the diff. The Mazda was a neat car but the 4 cylinder engine is noisy and I really found that one difference significant. If the 6 handles better, I couldnt see it. This is a great car and is really hard to beat.

I went from driving a 98 civic ex to a 03 accord ex.... what an amazing driving experience! This car is so sleek and stylish. It has made driving fun again.

  • Could be better built - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

Drove the Avalon, Passat, Maxima. Got into an Accord just by chance. Good mix of features for the money. Not as sexy as the Maxima, but better value. Like the performance, ride and interior features (miss some of the other guys features). Disappointed in the build quality. Alignment so far out it wore off front tire outsides in 2K miles. Rattling CD compartment still not fixed. Installed mud flaps (dealer installed options are out of sight) and found stripped screws, fasteners and such all around. Great car for price, poor quality control, high option prices at dealer.

  • MY THIRD ACCORD - 2003 Honda Accord

VERY NICE AUTOMOBILE. HAVE OWNED MANY HONDAS AND THIS IS THE MOST LUXURIOUS AND PLUSHEST OF ALL. IS THAT A GOOD THING? I GUESS SO. I HAVE A 93 EX WAGON THAT I LOVE TO DRIVE BECAUSE IT IS SPORTY AND COMFORTABLE. THIS NEW ACCORD WILL BE RELIABLE BUT IT IS NOT AS FUN TO DRIVE AS MY 93. I DO RECOMMEND THEM THOUGH. BEST CARS ON THE MARKET.

  • Makes Sense - 2005 Honda Accord

The best thing about this car is that you dont feel odd. Its invisible: it feels and handles as an ordinary family sedan - you are not aware that it is different. Yet when you need power it does not disapoint. I like that it uses regular gas and that Im getting about 30 miles per gallon average day to day mileage.

  • Nearly Flawless - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

Bought this new and have been extremely pleased with the performance, reliability, and overall "functionality." Our 4 cylinder LX accelerates and handles well. The fuel economy is very good. Seat comfort is excellent despite the lack of lumbar adjustment. Repairs have been minimal - oil changes, tire rotation, and new brake pads (typical for 50% city driving). If you buy this car used, be sure to pull a CarFax because there are thousands of "totalled" Accords out there being sold - and it is hard to restore a heavily damaged car to original specs.

  • Dad sold me his Honda - 2007 Honda Accord

The center console navigation dvd map thing is dead and the car drives somewhat like a truck compared to his Mercedes but its a nice looking car and runs OK.
