Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Great Car but......... - 2004 Honda Accord
By Geechieg - June 29 - 2:00 amI find the 4 cylinder LX to be a great car for my personal needs. It has most of the options one could want standard. The steering is quick and responsive. The brakes are firm and reasuring. The manaul height adjuster on the driver seat is a great touch. The five speed automatic is very smooth, no sudden jerks or lunges at take off. My dealer experience was superb. I would highly recomend this car to anyone looking for a midsize sedan.

Quite A Car For The $$$ - 2008 Honda Accord
By Burt - June 28 - 9:23 amHad a 2004 Acura TL and traded for a 2008 coupe and couldnt be happier. Looks great inside and out and I feel a real competitor to the Infiniti G37 at thousands less. Spend a lot of time on the road and the car is never boring to drive in city or highway. Great performance and handling make this a real Winner!

Fabulous! - 2008 Honda Accord
By mamavm - June 27 - 9:50 pmI picked up my new Accord EX V-6 Sedan four days ago, so I dont have feedback yet on reliability or long- term quality. But, it is fabulous to drive. Its comfortable, interior features are well thought out, theres a lot of hp under the hood and simply glides down the road. This is the "funnest" car I have ever owned. Prior to this purchase, I test drove every 4-dr sedan, from economy to luxury. This Accord has no close competitors. Im hopeful that as time passes it proves its long-term reliability and mpg reputation. So far, so good.

Great all around car - 2007 Honda Accord
By nathanapt357 - June 27 - 5:10 pmThis is a $30K sedan that actually gives you a lot for the money; it handles well, is fun to drive, gets good gas mileage, has good acceleration, has plenty of legroom in both the front and the rear, the front seats hug the driver and passenger so they dont slide around in higher speed turns, and the 6-disc in-dash CD changer w/ XM radio is decent. The voice commands control the climate control, the navigation system, the stereo system, and the other electronics in the car-- a good thing since some of the manual controls are places slightly out of comfortable reach. At this price, the car should come with Xenon HID lights and Bluetooth. Navigation system is not as good as some portables.

Better than expected - 2007 Honda Accord
By L.T. - June 25 - 1:33 amI purchased my Accord after discovering that my Acura CL had manufacturing defects in the paint and transmission, (I loved it & the Acura line until then!!). Despite the unforeseen problems w/the Acura I loved its speed, agility and Bose Stereo. So, I got the Accord because it was affordable and practical, and did not expect to love it. But..the V6 is quick, agile, (not as much as the acura). I get tons of compliments on the smooth, quiet ride, more of a sporty, roomy sedan. The look is not especially sporty, but not boring. The brakes are overly sensitive/grabby, and there are some blind spots at the pillars and front end. Overall pleased & pleasantly surprised.

Whats that noise? - 2008 Honda Accord
By Not so happy - June 24 - 9:36 amI have 12,500 miles on the Accord. It gets great gas mileage and love the car. I dont agree with the oil life gauge but the dealer said if I change it any sooner, Ill mess with the scheduled maintenance. How will an engine last 300k mles with the oil changed every 10,000 miles? The rock chips on the front of the car are annoying. Horrible road noise and now I have what soundss like a front wheel bearing gone bad! Also my lights dim every time the a/c kicks on! HMMMMMM!

bad fuel economy - 2008 Honda Accord
By gary - June 23 - 12:16 pmI got fascinated by the fuel efficiency before buying this car. It was misleading advertisement. My car gives me 450 km with full tank (70 liters). Almost half the mileage as compared to advertisement. I have 2000 Toyota sienna, with 67 liters of fuel it goes more than 500 km. Bigger size, big engine and better fuel efficient than brand new 2008 Honda Accord ex-l (2.4l). I realize that I made a mistake, I should have bought the Toyota Camry instead.

I love my Honda!!! - 2004 Honda Accord
By SAS - June 23 - 2:00 amMy experience w/my dealership was excellent! This manual car is very easy to drive and fun! It rides very smooth - and although its only the 4cyl is has plenty of get up and go. The coupe model is also very sporty - with more room inside than the typical "sports car".

Honda is not all its cracked up to be - 2005 Honda Accord
By Janet - June 22 - 6:43 amIt has a very powerful 240 HP 3.0L v6 but the ride is loud and rough and the EX V6 with Navigation is very Expensive
