Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Locks and Transmission - 1998 Honda Accord
By decliningquality? - July 5 - 10:00 amMy locks have been malfunctioning and I have not been able to resolve the issue. Also my automatic transmission will not always go into gear. Sometimes the button on the shifter will not allow me to push it. I have owned four Hondas and this is the only car I have not been absolutely thrilled with. Of course, this is the first one I purchased new and I paid up for it. Maybe that explains the problems...

08 Accord EX-L V6 - 2008 Honda Accord
By JTC - July 4 - 10:30 amThis is the best car I have ever purchased. I have had several people ask me what model BMW it was. The ride is very comfortable. The variable cylinder management is smooth and flawless.

Great car for reliability and road feel - 2012 Honda Accord
By kenmasters - July 4 - 10:14 amThis car is great for the family. 5 star safety rating and very good reliability rating. I had this car for 4 months now and It feels very solid and performance seems good for a 4 cylinder family sedan. decent acceleration and great handling, defiantly the sportier of the mid size sedans besides the mazda 6. I have been getting 28 mpg going to work and back in light traffic 30 miles round trip with about 4 traffic light stops average. It does not have any tech package just your basic radio and air conditioning but that was not important for me. I wanted a car that I can work on myself if the need be and this one gives you lots of room in the engine bay (due to it also offering a 6 cylinder) My last car was a 1992 Honda accord that I had for 19 years so hopefully this one will last me at least 15. My only gripe is it does seem they used more hard plastics in the dash and back panel where the speakers are. No rattles though.

A perfect car ... if theyd just put radio knobs! - 2016 Honda Accord
By Timothy Anderson - July 3 - 11:01 pmMechanically first rate. Beautiful, head-turning car. Comfortable and convenient. The only negative weve found - and its a big one - is that the radio is totally touch-screen.

Cant beat a honda - 2006 Honda Accord
By pete - July 3 - 10:50 pmI baught my honda about a year ago, and I have to say that I am very pleased overall. It could be a little better in the snow, but still does ok in the winter. My only dissapointment was when I went to trade the car in a few weeks ago to upgrade to an 07, and the dealership told me that they would give me $16,500 on trade in for it. (baught new for about $25,000) a little dissapiointing seeing as thought I thaugt hondas were suppose to keep their value well. Still a great car though. I have no problem holding on to.

Luxurious Rocket at Value Price - 2003 Honda Accord
By Riverkeeper - June 29 - 2:00 amThe 2003 Accord Coupe has the absolute best fun/performance/luxury/value equation in the under $25K category, bar none. It has distinctive "love it or hate it" styling which I think is swoopy and sumptuous. The 240 hp V6 is eager, the handling confident, if not up to slot-car standards. The interiors rich leather envelops occupants, wonderfully. Minor gripe is the occasional mysterious squeak from the vicinity of where the headliner meets the windshield. But a fabulous job, nonethless.

Awesome Car - 2003 Honda Accord
By tazjenngirl - June 29 - 2:00 amThis was my 1st new car purchase. I got a great deal on the dealers demo model that was fully loaded and then some. Great pick up, had it 2 days and I love it. Nice wheels, controls are easy to use and reach, roomy trunk, so much better than a 4cyl car with no guts!!

Great car - 2003 Honda Accord
By cesar_smith - June 29 - 2:00 amI bought this car about 3 months ago due to Honda bias and a previous Civic. I do not regret buying this great car. It has everything I need to get to work comfortably, and cruise around with no worries. My wife just tried it for the fist time, and now wants it for herself!! She loved the smooth handling and seat comfort. I have noticed some rattling near the drivers seatbelt housing. It is muted by radio if put loud enough, but going to the dealer to see if it is a defect. Bad roads will cause bumpiness, which I guess would be the case in any car.

Great Car - 2004 Honda Accord
By EHFLA - June 29 - 2:00 amI spent a few weeks researching what to get for my next car. I looked at the usual suspects and kept coming back to the Accord. Ive owned two Hondas in the past so I was comfortable with the idea of getting another one. I have a family so safety is important to me, so after doing some research I decided an EX with Side Curtain Airbags (SCA) was what I wanted. I had some trouble finding one but this past weekend I was at my local dealer and found one on the lot. I got it for 21,600 and Im very happy. This is a great car for the money, the drive-train and build quality is second to none. If your thinking about an Accord get it, you wont be disappointed.
