Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • I may buy two! - 2008 Honda Accord

My 2008 Honda Accord continues to impress me every time I start the engine. There is an amazing comfort level with this car. Comfort based on the quality and attention to detail Honda efficiently packs into this newly reclassified full size car. Talk about your bang for a buck, you get it with the Accord. From the overall exterior styling, the leather interior, dashboard, moon roof, engine, wheels, tires, and even the trunk you get nothing less than quality. I am extremely happy with my purchase and because I hate to share this car with the wife I am now scrambling to realign my budget to make a move on the coupe or maybe just another sedan.

The Honda Accord is a very easy car to drive. I am a older man and have a gut but the seat allows me to adjust for real comfort. The peppy response is great in traffic and makes you think it is a sports car. My fuel mileage is getting better now that I have 27k plus miles. The built in fuel calculator shows on the road mileage of 28 mpg regularly and when I drive a lot in the city it is usually around 24-25 mpg.

  • No brainer......its a Honda - 2006 Honda Accord

Tried to decide between this Honda and a Mazda 6. I made the right decision. The build quality is far superior over the Mazda. Gas mileage is great and the 160 hp motor does fine in traffic and on the highway. Dont make a mistake and buy something else.

  • Great Car! - 2004 Honda Accord

I bought this car from a Honda dealer, used with 26k miles, and have been very happy. Most impressive aspect has been the solid build quality. Car is very tight with no squeaks or rattles. Awesome interior. Mine is completely loaded with nav and everything feels silky smooth.......like a car costing a lot more than what I paid(20k). But nothing is perfect, the airbag light was on, dealer fixed this under warranty at no cost. Lighted steering wheel controls would also be nice(this was fixed in 05). And I hear this car is tough on front brake pad/rotors. Rotors covered under warranty. Overall, great car for the price. Very reliable so far and the voice activated nav is awesome. Go buy one!

  • always buy a honda - 2003 Honda Accord

I just bought this car two days ago!! I cant believe how it drives. We feel very safe in the car. I am glad I bought it. We looked at the civic, but for only $48 more a month we got the accord. The interest rates are the best. At 2.9%, my payments were low and all I put down was $500. It is roomier than the last years styles. We had a 93 accord for 8 years and it never failed. Go for it. Hondas dont die.

  • What car did Edmonds Drive? - 2003 Honda Accord

I looked at and drove a BMW 330i, Audi A4, Infiniti G35, and VW Passant GLX. I looked at an Accord last only because I have been unsure of the exterior styling. The truth is that on an overall scale the Accord is 95% of the car of the BMW and Audi (except for the status label) but at 65% of the cost. At the fact that I only had one very small problem in 5.5 years with my old EX V6 and the Accord is unbeatable. Incidentally the ride quality is quite balanced and good and certainly not mushy - I have no idea what car Edmonds drove.

We bought a 2003 V/6nav. to be our "work horse". We take one way 600 mile trips. The car performs very well, even over the CA "Grapevine". We drive in the fast lane and still get 26.0 - 27.5 mpg. Only problem, the hook for the driver sun visor broke. We love the car. We added a wide angle rear view mirror that helps for blind spots and a full front mask to prevent stone chips. The leather seems to suck up conditioner and dulls quickly.

If you plan on getting the accord sedan or coupe, you HAVE to have the V6!!Its so much fun to drive, it handles like its an extension of your consciousness. Wow!

  • excellent car - 2003 Honda Accord

Excellent car all around. Interior design cannot be beat, you must see it and experience it. Good handling, great acceleration, relatively quiet, well built. You will not be sorry, but compare it first with Camry V6, Passat, and Maxima.

  • The Car that sells its self - 2001 Honda Accord

This honda like the others I have had before has treated very well. For the countless of different driving conditions that I encountered it has never failed not once. I only wish I had the time to baby this car as much as it babys me with its dependability. I only wish it had a stronger/faster engine.
