Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Fun to drive but noisy and rattles - 2008 Honda Accord
By Chris - July 11 - 9:50 pmReally fun to drive and handling is incredible. Now the bad, tire noise is constant except on perfect new smooth blacktop. The car has numerous rattles from several areas, but only on rough roads or over rail road tracks etc. It is tight on smooth roads. Rear brakes are making a dull hum at 16,000 miles. I would not recommend this car if you are sensitive to road noise and rattles. I would not purchase this car again but only because of the road noise and rattling issues! I plan to sell it asap to get a tight, quiet car like Honda used to build! Too bad, Honda blew it for me! And I was a big fan!

Fast and Smooth - 2003 Honda Accord
By Fast Eddie Canada - July 11 - 10:00 amSilk-smooth V6 masks rapid acceleration. First few weeks of highway driving found myself ended up closer to the car in front than intended after passing. Amazing seats makes my daily 60-mile roundtrip a pleasure. Car as delivered had no defects and remains so after six months. Enjoy the communicative steering.

Excellent - 2003 Honda Accord
By JohnZimm - July 11 - 10:00 amThis is a very fun car to drive. I am fairly tall (6-3") and I drive approx. 30k miles/year for work. Naturally I was concerned about comfortability. This car has surpassed my expecations. I really enjoy driving this car. The only problem is, with the Navigation System, I now have no excuses for getting lost. Is very quick and handles great.

Great balance - 2003 Honda Accord
By sposton - July 11 - 10:00 amThis car is wonderfully balanced. It has a good ride, nice handling, and a great performing 4 cylinder. On the inside, it is roomy, the seats are supportive and comfortable, it has all the features I need, and the build quality is outstanding. All of this in an $18,000 dollar package spells success in my book.

Very good car - 2006 Honda Accord
By AAC - July 11 - 4:53 amPurchase a 2006 VP with M/T. Excellent car, comfortable but at the same time provides a sporty feel. Well designed interior with above average fit and finish. Best 4 cyl. engine in its class, revs without effort with good power delivery. Nice steering feel, just needs more on-center feel. After 14,000 miles only problem is a little bit of noise coming from the front passenger area, something is vibrating on bumpy roads. Trying to identify the source before taking it to the dealer. Do not like the maintenance reminder system, would prefer a table in the ownerÂ’s manual with miles and/or months at which the car should be service. Beware of dealerÂ’s preventive maintenance.

Unhappy Honda Owner - 2009 Honda Accord
By Lori - July 10 - 2:00 amWhere do I start? There is a surge in vehicle when you drive when it switches back and forth from 6CL to 3CL (which is constantly). The brakes have squeaked from almost day one. My dealership told me 1st I was braking too hard, then I was braking too soft and then it was because of the gravel road I had to drive on to get to my house (about 50 yards). Its funny I never had that problem with my Toyotas. Now they are telling me that Honda acknowledges a problem with the brakes but now we have to wait for a service bulletin to be released. In the meantime I am making a monthly payment on a car that is embarrassing to drive. I will never buy Honda again!!! Oh yea, and the road noise...
