Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • What a set of wheels! - 2003 Honda Accord

Purchased with 72k miles as certified used vehicle. Love the power, though it has almost gotten me in trouble a few times. I have avoided several accidents in this car thanks to the agile handling and intelligent abs system. Did have the problem with the radio in April but dealer replaced it under good faith (though my certified warranty would have covered it). Only repair I have had to make is replace a brake light switch that wont let the car be put into gear if it goes out. It cost me 8 dollars and I was able to install it myself! I drove a brand new civic before I bought my accord for more room. This accord with over 86,000 miles runs just as well as my brand new civic! ITS A HONDA!!!!

  • 08 Accord EX-L V6 Rocker Arm Problems - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

Bought car last month fully loaded without Nav. Took it back to the dealer after a week due to a loud knocking noise when driving. Dealer did not know what the problem was until after 3 business days. Service bulletin out for inadequate torquing of the rocker arm bolts. Loaner car provided by Dealer but still in shop waiting for the balance parts. It has been in the shop for 1 1/2 weeks. Very disappointed with this issue. I did also notice poor shifting in first gear and surging between cylinder changes. I also had wind noise coming through the moon roof while driving. I hope all the repairs will be completed when I pick up the car early next week. I have been very disappointed.

  • The best of the best - 2002 Honda Accord

Great car....but..I am 61" and if the front seats were 2" wider and maybe 3" longer and i could fit my golf clubs in the very back of the trunk and still have room to carry the weeks groceries i wouldnt be thinking about the Pilot. Great power, so-so tires, super quality.

  • So reliable that its almost boring - 1996 Honda Accord
    By -

My friends and family reccomended the Honda and they have definitely given me the best advice I think I have ever taken, for this car is amazing! I feel very confident in the car, just knowing that it will always get me where I need to go. It is six years old and looks and drives like its a brand new machine, infact this car probably hasnt even broken in yet! And its especially nice when the mechanic compliments you on your decision to buy a Honda, ensuring you that they are nearly mechanically perfect.

  • Always reliable - 1991 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought my Accord SE Sedan in Oct. 98 with 48,500 miles. Ive added almost 100K miles since, and it has been extremely reliable and consistent. The leather interior and extra 15 HP and 5 pd.-ft. of torque over the DX, EX, and LX models are nice, too. I think it accelerates better than our 2002 Mustang V6 convertible. No major maintenance other than timing belt. Sometimes doesnt start because of typical problem with fuel pump relay, but thats a known problem, and I just key off/on until it goes.

  • Great Value - 2007 Honda Accord

After driving an older accord for many years, I upgraded to the 07 model and am very satisfied with that decision.

  • Best Honda Yet - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

After owning three Civics, I decided to try an Accord. This is the best Honda yet. Wish I bought one earlier. The car is a fully loaded EX-L V6. I assumed that gas mileage would be around 25 MPG. Since I owned it (Nov 2012), its ranging from 28 to 34 MPG. I drive about 50/50 Hwy/City in Long Island, NY. On a trip from LI to Newport, RI, I averaged 34.1 MPG. I use the ECON setting for about 90% or driving. For power the V6 in Non-ECON, the car can keep up with vehicles costing much more. It is a poor mans BMW, but worth every penny of it.

  • What more do you want? - 2005 Honda Accord
    By -

I just bought this car about a week ago, and I couldnt be more happy with it. Its been a pleasure to drive and feels like a luxury car. The V6 is sporty, but Im still able to get 30mpg on the freeway (driving the limit ;-)) I love the layout of the interior, much more so than the comperable Nissans, Toyotas, or Mazdas. The voice commands are also great, keeps my hands on the wheel. This is my first Honda and I am quite impressed, I was reading some of the reviews here that have rattles, mine is whisper quiet. Some of the reviews also say it needs better brakes, I think they are great. I got a good deal on the last sedan with navi on the lot, great value for the money; highly recomended.
